This is the kind of story that you know can't be made up, it's just too bizarre. And it's in Norwegian, so I'll just have to take it at face value. Here's the basic rundown: The boy and his sister were taking a shortcut through the woods on the way home from school when they came upon a moose who got aggressive. The kid started shouting to distract the moose while his sister ran away and when faced with a very irate and very large mammal did what he had done many times before while playing his Hunter in World of Warcraft. He fell over and feigned death. Eventually the moose lost interest and toddled off.

Can you image it? The boy utilized the skill learned form WoW: Feigned Death and the moose thought him dead, left. Is World of Warcraft not only a fun MMO, but also actually a life saver?

Yea, I heard about this before yesterday, my brother told me, I didn't get near the computer at all yesterday, I had too much to do. But umm, it's cool, although WoW isn't the only place where you could learn that playing dead can help you escape.

Least the game has some useful education purposes

Lol thats what acutally people tell you to do with bear just pretend your dead. That;s funny though.

I remember people dying because of WOW, so this is an especially good news.

that's pretty crazy. moose are HUGE btw. I've seen a few in real life pretty up close. and they are GIGANTIC O_O
