I just wanted to know what platform / OS you play mmos in? (Windows xp, Vista, 7, Mac OSX, Linux etc...)

And what do you think about Microsofts new Windows 7?

Windows 7, I use Windows 7, and it works just fine =D

I use vista, but only because I have no other choice. It's annoying for me (who programs as a hobby) to sift through the crap that is considered a control panel just to find cmd.exe. It also hoards excessive amounts of memory and cpu, making it the second worst OS I've ever come across with.

There is a lot of compatibility problems with the games I play :V (mostly because of GameGuard) I can't play Grand Chase nor PSU now D:

But in overall it isn't that bad... I can finally torrent at full speed (which I couldn't do with Vista)

iam using windows 7 but now i cant play different games... my problem is i cnat play tantra kathana 3 but ... its a 10 for me as a graphic artist and doing so many rendering in CAD and 3Ds max... still i wnat to play

I'm still using windows xp, since all the games still work

I use XP on my desktop, it works fine, Vista sucks, it won't even run my game client. I tried windows 7 from my brother's pc though.

Windows XP FTW XP is way better for gaming that Vista

Windows 7 is apparently meant to be the first stable pre-launch OS in a long time. Everyone I know who has used it says that it's great, I have a copy sitting here but i'm just too lazy to install it at the moment.

Vista was okay after Service Pack 1, that sort of fixed most of the problems. It was the initial release version that was backwards and caused alot of problems, also Microsoft sort of threw vista on everyones laps without any preperation. This didn't give developers enough time to update their software to run with vista, this time there isn't going to be that problem. Of course alot of software is going to become outdated and may not be updated to run on 7, but we will see.

but in vista you need a huge amount of space in your hdd. . right??

To be honest I prefer Windows XP. XP is more simple and would be less of a hassle on my laptop I'm sure... I'm running on Vista though.

Using Windows 7 here (Thank you MSDN), its great so far and I wouldn't have it any other way.
