K so i started a new guild with my friend and well 2 hours later WoW officials kicked us out of the game, they didnt even whisper to us, ONE big box just came out in my screen saying talk to your GM for more info, Your Guild name must be changed. So we get kicked out, and we come back in they changed our Guild name. Our guild name was Saddam needs a Rezz....i know kind of creepy but we were doing it just for the giggles, and my friend had asked a GM if we could get in trouble for that name and he said no.

Now, another GM that has been going on for like month had a twink guild named Two Orcs One Cup, well they made them changed their name after 2 months of having it. Thats so dumb and after giving a list of accepted names they would approve the GM had to send another list and Blizzard picked the worst Guild Name for them.

So i find wow officials or GM's are being soooooo overeactive over the name of Guilds is just being stupid.

Your right one that one. Why sould it be offensive for the WoW officials, since its your guild name, and it does not do any harm to any one? It has no direct link to them whatsoever, and to any logic.

They do not only overreact, but they demonstrate there complete stupidity with matters of mmo's. They are eather new, or consider even the slightest.. taboo, something that could destroy there world.

That Guild name is pretty bad though, but ya you did get permission from one GM. I guess different GMs may have different polices.

Yes, its not exactly what i would call a good name, but its he's guild name, why would it be that bad, since its no insult to the GM's? Would it "scare" off the players?

SaddamNeedsARezz sound's hilarious the only reason it would have been discovered is if someone complained. Id think that only an "Iraqi" would complain and I don't know how many of those you see playing World of Warcraft

Well, you know its the internet so you can't stop people from having their own opinions, some game officials don't even care about the names anymore, as long as it makes their customers happy then they are happy.

Though I don¡¯t think the guide name is a problem. Someone just make the name for fun. Just want to make the players laugh. But the official often strict with that and banned them. I have seen a guide name about: U should change it! And after 1 day I found that guy have another new guild name upon his head. I sent a PM to him for more details. And he said he have create 4 guild, and all of the name have been changed by Blz. That¡¯s funny.
I agree with AvonGenesis, that just a name. They play game for fun, and that¡¯s also should be ok for them to make a funny name.

GMs are stupid 12yo gold farmer kids.. what were you expecting ? anyway... WoW is dead. get over it.

I'm guessing to protect the kiddies eyes that play the game, since the parents ARE the one putting money into their pockets ;o).
