I just thinking of a cruel topic, if you now become a parent, and you have a boy who is 17, now he want to play an MMOs...so which MMOs you would like to let him play? Ok, I must confess that both of them are....bad, but you have to choose one! vote and give me the reason!

I would choose the Violent one. Reason being is nudity and such turn men into greedy pigs. I would never want my son to turn into the men we have today (If I had a Son).

yeah i agree with Lusts,
i would rather allow him to play violent mmos then nudity ones,
not only because it will make the kid into a nudity pig but also he will get used to idea that nudity is good.

and violence is not that bad in my opinion
its natural, people just dont see alot of the violence going on in the world so they think it doesnt exist
so i think in a way violent games hopefully would help realize that there is a lot of bad violence in the world

Violence isnt as bad as sexnudity like things, i vote for violence.

If he is 17 years old, I'd let him choose. Hes old enough to make up his own mind. Plus think about it, in the U.S. movies that are rated R and video games that are rated M can be watched and played by 17 year olds. Also some 17 year olds are freshmen in college, so their not at home anyway. Now if the question was about a child under 17, it would be a different story.

I pay attention to the rating on the game.
I do my job as a parent instead of hoping someone else will.

I vote for no MMO. Ask him to go experience real life. The violence and sexual nudity is far more realistic.

why is violence better then nudity? lol and im not refering to those God awful 18+ films, but nudity as a whole. Lol would it be better for my son/daughter to be exposed to a violent game in hes childhood, that would affect him and make him what he is? You probably dont know, but kid's brain keep on learning until there 20(its fact, not opinion btw.,chose to bealive it or not).

There's no such things as "nudity pigs"(wtf?lol), there are people that have ben affected by how there parents have teached them about the world. Curiosity is a curse sometimes.

Yeah sure it dosent exist, the news dosent "exist", guiz getting beat up at school dosent "exist", and neither does films 12+ with tons of violence, right? CounterStrike at the netcoffe were even 9 year olds can enter without parents even knowing..that dosent exist either, right?(sarcasm)

And in my opinion this is the ONLY correct answer that this tread has, and the most smartest. Now i do HAVE a 2 year old kid, and thats why i know how a parent acts(LOL). Peace!

My opinion, i wouldnt let my kid play neither of those kinds of games, and if i REALLY had to chose betwen one of them? I would act like a parent, and even then i wouldnt chose, i would just go home and play Mario Bros.

That is so right , i am even younger , and i played all types of games.

Violence and killing, it's so much better that for kids. The nude body is sin, and loving sex is even worse.

Regulate is a way to protect.
Protect doesn't mean banning them to use the computer alltogether.
I mean if you leave a 10 y/o with a computer in his own room without putting any filters, how long do you think it will be before they find a porn site?
