I love to use katanas in most games, or one handed swords. If not ill use throwing stars.

Unless its a COD4, then i'll lay down my 1-handed sword and pick up my p-90

MMO's- Some people will love the game and talk about it, others will Despise it and go out of there way to make sure everyone know's just how much they hate it

I'm usually an assassin or theif in most games. I have both daggers and bow. Bow to shot them till they come close then daggers to finish them off.

For myself it's not a weapon that i use it's spells, magic of various types that the particular class is able to learn or use. I've never really been one who likes to use weapons in an mmo. i'm more of a spell flinger then a weapon user. At least a magic-using class i my preferance.
