Are there any scary mmos out there? I mean like Resident Evil 4 scary (I haven't played the other ones to now if the're scary like the 4th one). I loved Resident Evil 4 because of all the things that jump out ant suprise you!

This part is kind of off topic... I beat the game in 20 hours first time through without the game guide! That's pretty fast for the other people that I've seen the first time through with the guide. The game rocks, so if you haven't tried it, go out and buy it now!

DOOM 3, Silent Hill : Origins are all scary games. The Silent Hill filmize from this game are so bloody and inhuman........

Requiem Online is a Horror mmo but its still closed beta... check out the videos on youtube though and I think Hellgate London is like doom

is not a mmo..but the most scary game that i ever played and alot of people agree with me..its a game franchise called FATAL FRAME. what make this game so much better its its not about big monsters and blood drinking zombies, this game is all about mindgames, you where does closing..the floor making noisys and you see ghots running away on the end of the game vision..is just mindbraking this game. i recommend to someone who wants to try a really good game (theres Fatal Frame I, II, III.. i think that the II is the best)

Hellgate: London and the one mentioned above are supposed to be somewhat scary.

as a previous poster mentioned dark eden is a vampire/slayer mmo where you can take on the role of either a vampire,slayer,or outer (mage people).but the grind is horrible and some places you have to pay to get to.i personally find it horrible but meh it might be your cup of tea.

i've played scary flash games, but i haven't actually put any thought into a scary MMOG... isn't there a resident evil multiplayer? that would be scary...

Hmm Cool i didnt know there were mmo that were scary.

There really aren't any truly scary MMOs... Maybe they should make like.. an online version of Resident Evil! Though, not playing by yourself makes it less scary, lol.

Although Requiem is classified as a Horror MMO, because a lot of monsters aren't aggressive or aren't very aggressive there isn't the rush of being pursued to doeath :(.

Dark Eden is like Diablo 2, being able to see around you makes the monsters easy to see and more predictable, therefore it isn't scary.

I don't know much about Hellgate London but I heard that it is pretty reptitive. Since it is a fast-paced action MMO, it probably has more of a fear-factor than the above two MMOs.

I do remember a time when Diablo 1 scared me alot, but a game that really scared the hell out of me was Bioshock

I stoped playing it because of future scare expectations
