Today in the store I got thinking about how there are very few, if any, magazines that deal with MMOGs. Sure, magazines like PC Gamer might deal with big time games like Age of Conan, but what about a magazine that fully deals with this genre? Who better then MMOSite to do that?

It could have reviews, previews, interviews, and could become a community project since we already have teams for reviews and interviews, etc.

Anyone else think it'd be cool to have a magazine mainly about the MMOG genre/industry? It would sure be better then some of the crap gaming magazines out there with about 3 articles in 100 pages, with the rest being advertisements. And the few articles they have look like they ought to have been written in crayon by a six-year old.

yea that'd be good, tho there's a lot of money that would have to go into it, but i don't think staff would be a problem. We've already got reviewers, interviewers, etc. Maybe have people help with the editing. Hey if you guys start doing it it'd be cool if you give some of us a chance to help out ^^ (maybe get paid too...heheheheh

Yeah, the community already covers a lot of staff parts if that's what they chose to do. I think it'd work out well if we got a team together to work on it and had senior editors from MMOsite.

good idea, I think the first step now is to organise the magazine writing team~

try to make some propagandas~

Hmm, yeah, a nice idea I guess, I wouldn't care if you'd make one though, it probably wouldn't appear in Estonia anyway...

Umm and now to the point. I'm pretty sure it costs a lot to make a magazine and to publish it and whateber, I don't know anything about this but I'm sure it costs a lot, everything does.

And the other problem is that I don't think there's much info, it would be best to make it a monthly magazine or something like that but still, even in one month, I don't think there will be much info to give... But maybe not, it's not like I read the news on this site's homepage. I sometimes look at them but not that much to judge if you could make a magazine out of it.

Well anyway, good luck if someone really starts to bring this idea to life.

sounds cool, i mean im pretty sure theres a mag for newgrounds so why not mmosite! (i only hope that poeple other than mods can write articles...)
