Unannounced to the general public as of yet, RF Online ( http://www.rf-onlinegame.com/ )went free to play during the patch yesterday.

Current subscribers were informed. If you ever had an account or a Trial Account, you can go to the account website ( https://cogaccounts.codemasters.com/ ) and click to re-activate your RF Online account for free and play it free forever more.

It's not set up to make new accounts free without keys yet, but I believe that trial keys still work to set up accounts. You can still get trial keys here (please let us know if it lets you make an account with them still):

i tried and you can still make accounts with that trial keys! but when i clicked download,it opened trial/game client download,is it full version or only trial client?

(cant find edit button sry) YOU CAN MAKE NEW ACCOUNTS BUT YOU CAN ONLY DOWNLOAD 'TRIAL CLIENT' for now.i will wait for episode2(full free version)to be released.hope it will be released soon :)

I think the "Trial" thing just mean that you would get 7 or 10 days to play for free,but now that its F2P it doesnt mater anymore.

The "Trial" client is actually the same exact client as the full version client :D So if you can download it and it says it's the trial client, you're still good to play the full version.

Your account info is set up elsewhere, not on the client you download. Their trial client is actually a full version of the game anyway, so go ahead and download the trial and you still will have the full version of the game.

They will announce it being free to play soon and everything but you can still have the full game with trial keys now, so if you want a jumpstart on the other free players you may as well get it now :D

The names are locked up in a weird way though, from back when they merged all the servers into one server. If anybody had a name on any of the many servers, on any account free or trial or whatever, the name is locked up now even if they are not playing anymore. I hope they unlock the names from people who don't play anymore but it's doubtful. Instead, maybe they'll open new servers again if enough people come to play the game now that it's free :D

no you dont need a cd-key or anything,just create an account with trial keys,and download so called trial client :D

now i will try age of armor,i will download rf online tomorrow,then deceide which one to play.(zero will be in 'alpha' so i wont bother download it)

lol i wanna try 2 these 3 games too, i have just downloaded ZERO, i will try tomorow, i have problem with update of Age Of Armor so i can't play it, and RF online i hopy i need only acc for play ^^ and must download it first :))
