I've noticed that there are monsters whose name is colored green and there are others whose name are colored white. Is there a difference between the two??

green means you can take him on, red means you need luck to or strategy to overcome the enemy but still at that rate you have a small chance,,

orange means enemy's level is higher than yours but doable with quality upped equips

light blue dark blue means theyre a piece o cake. pawn em to eternity

Oh! I didn't expect those colors to have those meanings! That's really neat! I've always wondered if there is some other way of knowing your chances against a monster other than having the Patrol License. I haven't seen any monster with red or orange but maybe because I haven't explored the game that much...

So, with this color we can actually now the level difference between my character and the monster. Sometimes, I believed that we were given warnings before going into a battle, that there are certain level to kill a monster, they give us statistics that show off the chance of winning. This color can actually help us on keeping ourselves out of trouble.

sweet. i didn't bother asking about the colors of the monster's names since i thought they just kinda differed according to the area. now that i think of it, this one's a really good feature of atlantica.. telling you about the difficulty of a monster. i thought it was just the stats that told it.

the chance of winning is for boss monsters. you can pretty much ignore it since it is possible to beat dracula at lvl 50 although most people won't try it.

yeah. actually, i remember beating a boss even if the stats showed i only had 30something% to beat it. i guess those stats were calculated because not many people try to battle with bosses of higher levels than them.

I didn't even know there were different colors for the names of monsters! So far, I've only encountered white... But, that's a neat feature! That way, you won't go into battle with a monster that is way out of your league (like those red colored ones).

Yeah, I'm quite used to that color scheme in MMORPGs, but last week, I wasn't paying attention.

I saw deers and attacked them, expecting an easy kill, but I hadn't noticed they were red.

Let me explain the result : I'm level 36, I kill (normal) deers easily, but those were level 85.
I lasted 20 seconds before dying in shame

if the level difference is less than 10 it isn't that big of a deal unless the mobs are with bosses. the bosses will wipe the floor with you. the mobs not so much. my lvl 83 with mid 70 mercs have no problems taking on lvl 90 mobs.

Can someone actually wins against a monster who has a greater level to your character? I've tried it before but I didn't win the battle, I just died in the end.

depend on how many lvl higher the mobs r and ur equipments, like zanpakutou said lvl 80s have no problem takin on lvl 90s mobs. skills and merc's upgrades also help.

So having great upgraded armors can help you out to defeat those monsters. But then I believe that a good strategy can also help defeating those monsters.

i guess it's just about strategy then. this kind of happening where lvl3xs can be beaten by lvl2xs is prominent particularly during the free leagues.

i already experienced getting beaten up by a lvl24 and i'm already lvl31 (oh, the shame.)
