Recently, The Atlantica Team announced the newest Patch to Atlantica Online's open beta. the controversial Stamina system of the game has been changed also.

You will find these modifications made to Atlantica Online's open beta after the latest patch is completed

1. Items

The Auto-Move function is now a basic feature in the game that all players can use. Therefore, Auto-Move licenses can no longer be sold or bought at the market. And any Auto-Move licenses you already have in your possession will be exchanged for a set amount of gold.

2. Stamina

All players now gain one (1) Stamina point for every 10 minutes they do not battle monsters - not just players at Level 50 or above anymore. So, for instance, if you are a Level 20 player who takes a 20-minute food break, you will earn 2 Stamina points.

Stamina is a system that limits players to 100 random battles per day (reduced to 50 once the player passes level 50). 100 stamina is offered from the beginning of the game and one point removed for each battle the player is in. Once the stamina counter reaches zero the player receives no experience points or items from any further battles. Stamina resets once every 24 hours.

Although it's a patch from about a week ago, I think that tweaking the stamina system was a compromise to players who hated it. NDOORS obviously wants the stamina system to be an integral part of the game, and possible stamina pills to be an item shop item. I don't think they want to remove stamina, but at the very least, they are willing to tweak it.
