Okay then, i'll start this self-building thread. This means that i will edit stuff as long as users reply to this. However, it should be noted that some stuff might not get in here. The stuff that isn't in the USA version of GC, won't be included until it is. With that said let's just go by the classes and skills and see how something will work. NOTE: screenshots provided are from the training mode. You won't have the equip you are using in training mode.

I go by them in this order:
Elesis
Arme
Lire
And will list basic tips of non-skill wise, how to use them and skills-wise. Skills as in special moves.

I'll be explaining some things here, like a legend, so here goes(this is for applicable to all classes):
five hit combo: done by pressing z. Do this untill all the 5 hits land. It should be noted that this shouldn't be used as much, but that's more in my opinion. However, in PvP team with more people, stay the hell off of this thing.
Charge:charging the MP bar to a certain point. It's done by pressing and holding z.
throw: Throws a character.(only available in PvP)Can be done when you have next to no distance from a character you want to throw. Simply press the direction the character you want to throw is in, and press z.
Tier:this is the level of mp you need when using a skill.
Counter Attack(CA):Also used for damage cancelling. It makes you invincible, but you will go on your face if this happens. If it happens, you lose as much MP as you charged when you got hit.
Invincible frames: Frames during an animation. Said when you can't hit the character and lower it's hp.

-Elesis-

First of is elesis, easy for first-timers they say. But strategically, you'll have a hard time PvPing. Especially because the two other classes that are centered around ranged battle. With that said, let's go over the basics.

The five hit attack isn't usefull to use, as it will give people the chance to regenerate. use ^ after you have hit the stab(fourth attack) twice, it will make elesis do another two attacks. The first one slashes the enemy into the air, the other knocking the character back to earth. This is sure to become lethal, usually.
This character can run instead of dash twice, just hold the button you just dashed with. She can also dash in the air, so this will make for good surprise attacks. The latter should be used often, and the former not so much.
There is also defence, in which elesis defends an arrow or that pentagram thing. You have to press forward to where the arrows come from. So if the arow goes to the left you go to the right, if it hits. She won't defend against any skills or attacks of Arme, only the arrows of lire hit her.(except if arrow rain didn't hit you from below and big shot) Or any attacks that other melee classes do against her. After the defence, there is a chance you reflect arrows back, but only if you get hit by an arrow.

another thing is called berserk.
If you get hit by Lire's arrows, 3 or 4 times, and not get interrupted in that, you will go berserk and make people fly. Especially if you used defence againts said opponent. You need to be in range to do so though. Range also determines how much arrows it takes to go berserk.

Mega slash(tier1): godly invincible skill, so to say. The skill uses three consecutive slashes with a finishing blow. The thing so good about it, is that it got a lot of invincible frames.
If a person gets hit by the first three slashes, you got two other options.
1)use another mega slash and 2) use sonic wave, if you got a full bar. The latter needs to be timed, so be carefull. The former doesn't have to be, unless you got two other bars full. I think the latter does more damage than the former, but it might be reversed.

Sonic wave(tier2 skill): Don't be hasty as to saying she will smash the ground with this skill. what she will do is simply make a pirouette and slash. The slash generates a wave in the air which hits the opponent. this technique is pretty powerfull, and can be used as a surprise attack. Be aware of it, since it can kill in one go.

Air spiral(tier3 skill): Like the name suggests, she attacks in the air, with a wave of energy. Good for surprising opponents above you. She also does a downward stab when she did the first slash. This can alsohurt, so be carefull when you are above her a bit. It can also count as a 1 hit KO.

-Arme-

Arme: A mage, starting with a shield and 1.5 mp bar. She doesn't have good basic attacks, except for the the up attack and firebolt. for the up attack, press the attack button twice and press ^, during the second attack animation, even at the start of it. She will smack the ground, creating waves of energy. She is invulnerable while she does this. Good way to stun people, so you can use a skill or throw them. when she dashes, she becomes invincible, but using the dash attack will make her vulnerable again, at any point of the dash. She also has two set of skills, which i will go into. Switch between them with X.

Black magic:

Stone Curse(tier1 skill): Petrifies an enemy, making way for you to escape a narrow situation. You can stand by the enemy, but it's better to get away, and try to charge for thunderbolt if you can.

thunder bolt:(tier2 skill) makes Arme invincible for the duration of the skill. She will release lightning from her wand, with which she attacks opponents. You can control the lightning bolt with up and down arrows. Do not get caught in it, cause it hurts. Usefull to stun opponents and then grab said opponent if he/she is in your face.

Meteor:(tier3 skill) As the name suggests, releases a rain of meteors from the sky. Do not try to run without hitting people, or wait to refill mana. Because that is certain death. Anyway, on with the description.
The meteors will hit on the level you are standing on. this means that if you are not on ground level, you will not do much damage, as the meteors will only give area of effect on the same level of the area you are standing on.

White magic:

Saviour(tier1 skill): Puts a shield around you, rendering you invincible for certain attacks. Stone curse will, however, damage you and destroy the shield. A grab will destroy your shield. It's better to save your mp for other things, like attacks. But it should be usefull while in the lower levels.

Reverse gravity(tier2 skill): it will teach opponents to fly. But it will hurt them. Usually used when in team.

Cure(tier3 skill): Restores hp of your fellow team mates. But useless in PvP. Only in team, might it be usefull. But it takes too much MP to use it. You can spend said mp better.

-Lire-

Lire: A challenging job class, as it has to stay stationary to attack AND she will pump out more attacks if you spam the attack button. Also, the last attack of the 5-hit comboes has a huge delay. You can, however, at any moment of the attack dash, she will then shoot another arrow in the opposite directionin which you want her to dash. When she dashes, she turns around and can shoot behind her. She also got angles to work with, making it easier to aim when the opponent isn't in firing range of the standard angle.
My advice is to take advantage of lire's mobility and dash, double jump and attack during dashes. Stun enemies and grab them if they are in your face, if you can.
also, try to think of where the opponents might be, like through skills. You'll see who uses a skill, and who doesn't use one. You usually see an aura appearing all of sudden, or some kind of Special effect of an attack.

Big-shot(tier1 skill): shoots multiple arrows with a downward angle if shot straight. Good for a stun. If the opponent is close enough, go for a grab. Good for get away tactics, if the opponent isn't close enough.

Arrow rain(tier2 skll): Shoots arrows in the air and let's them fall. Players hit by this when not getting hit by the first phase of the skill, might get knocked down by the arrows falling from the sky. Stand directly under your opponent for good damage. It's also a good way to keep opponents at a distance.

Shooting star(tier3 skill): Great, if you can pull it off in someone's face. What it does, is Lire shoots arrows in a spiral like motion. The arrows come back After the first shot. Arrows that hit the opponent, won't come back in the second spiral. It is hard to actually get it right, without the opponent expecting it. It also has a long charge time, so it is easier to predict.

EDIT: added screenshots of the moves, above the description and chracter screenshots.
EDIT: Made some more comments and tried to get a better edit of it. Typos should be fixed by now.

sorry for the double post, but this needs attention.

This thread is supposed to be build by the community. Please give strategies or tactics that aren't listed here, but do keep an eye on the comments.

With that said, i will only do the chcaracters that are in GC US of A version. This is the version that is most likely played for now.

thank you for your time.

Nice. I didn't know you could link sonic slash into Mega Slash's thing. Also, sonic slash is very powerful if you get a direct hit. I've been OHKO'd by that many times. Mega Slash isn't difficult to escape if you're on a platform. The wind up for the last strike in Mega Slash gives you the opening needed to drop down and escape. On the ground backed into a corner, it's harder to get away from.

@new people: please be aware that animations for their skills will be different due to the fact that we're not wearing whatever set they're wearing in Practice Mode. Otherwise, there's no difference.

I've already posted that this is in training mode. Usually, training mode got this kind of stuff.

I know you already posted that it's in training mode. But( although doesn't seem likely) if someone who doesn't know anything about GC comes in and sees it, they won't realize the difference between training mode and normal play. I know that when I first started I wondered why my skills didn't have the animations they did in training mode. Then someone told me why.

The warriors air spiral is only good for hitting people off ledges and counter attacks and sonic wave is far more powerful and can kill in 1 hit if used wisely.

Okay, but i have a few questiona about it. What distance can sonic wave 1HKO?

Why do the air spiral when someone is standing on a ledge?

Sorry for these questions, but i think they should be answered in this guide, even if it is common sense. But maybe i am contradicting myself.

add that if you time air spiral right when someone spawns you can kill them and theres nothing they can do about it :P same goes for lire.

Air Spiral from Elesis is good for people on ledges and things like that because it does knock them back. Only problem with this, is if you're doing it on the Gorge, you'll find yourself falling off of the cliff too if you're not too careful. Air Spiral is excellent when there's one opponent above you (on a platform) and another is coming to attack you head on. This is because the wave you shoot diagnonally will hit the one above you - knocking them down, and the drop kick will hit the one racing up to you - knocking them back a bit [sometimes down, depending on how little or high their defense is].

Keep in mind that Elesis got the best defence equips, but are weak in attack. Arme got the best attack equips, but are weak in defence. Lire is balanced attack and vitality (that means good defence, but lower than Elesis).

Well, to reply to Scarpy's post, for me, it kinda doesn't matter.

What matters is hitting and beating your opponent. The changes in their stats don't matter much right now, and i don't think it matters later.

I think we can only deduce it when we hit higher levels, maybe. It feels kind of empty to add, sorry.

EDIT: revised opinion.

A trick for Arme. When an opponent is after u, do an earthquake, this will stun the opponent a bit (try to make the opponent be near u as near as possible), now, simply
just grab the opponent! After that, do a stone curse or lighting bolt, right after he/she is gonna stand up.
