Part II - Dunbarton
Days ago I have introduced the newbie village Tir Chonaill, maybe what I write looks a bit messed up, I’m asking for you buddies excuse for this, but im trying to share what I know of mabinogi and tell some information about this perfect game in English. If anything you are puzzled by what I say, just point it out, then fintie sircusa and I shall give you answers.
Dunbarton
The city located in the south of Tir Chonaill, Dunbarton is the commercial center of Erinn because of its perfect geographic preponderance, Dugald Aisle, Tir Chonaill in the north, Gairech Bangor in the south, Osna Sail, Emain Macha in the west. There are maps as following.
In mabinogi, players like to trade at Dunbarton, maybe it’s because there is a big square in the city, and it’s convenient to open personal shop, on the side of the square, bank, cloth shop, bazaar, and food shop are located, wow, I still can remember the scene lots of people gathered in front of the bank chatting, trading, playing or doing something funny. IT IS REALLY A FANTASY LIFE!
NPC in Dunbarton
Name: Aeira
She is Walter’s daughter, managing a small bookshop, the books in her store can add INT and DEX attribute if you buy and read them, she also has a secret shop, which sells skill book, but if you wanna buy, you should keep a good relationship with her.
Name: Aranwen
In G2 you will find out Aranwen used to be a Paladin, When she quit Paladin Group, she came to Dunbarton and started a school, we can buy team mission scroll here and learn Arrow Revolver by a certain tittle.
Name: Eavan
Eavan is a clerk of government, we can find lost property here and buy team mission scroll, Aeira says she is a cold woman, but we can find the truth in G1 that she has a miserable past.
Name: Gilenis
Gilenis is the food shop manager, a warm hearted old grandma, newbie can learn how to cook here and buy food to eat.
Name: Kristell
Well, Kristell’s name sounds like an evil name in Erinn, that’s because she used to be succubuss, we can experience this story in G1. Now she is a religieuse, we can get holy water by accomplish her part time jobs.
Name: Austeyn
The president of the bank, the oldest man in Dunbarton, if you want to open personal shop, you should have bought one permit from him.
Name: Manus
Manus is a fat, strong, talk bigger, however, he is the only doctor in Dunbarton. It was said it’s him who invited Eavan and Nerys to live in this city and start their business.
Name: Nerys
Nerys owns a shop selling equipments, you can find her at the south corner of Dunbarton. There is a role-playing story about Manus, Eavan and her, it’s very funny.
Name: Simon
Lol, im sure the first word you say is WTF when you enter in cloth shop, seeing a scraggy man dancing with his arms waving. YES, that is Simon, he has the same kind of fame as Ferghus. I hate him very much….
Name: Sterwart
Sterwart is a mage, living in the library. You can learn all magic skills here and he has a secret shop, you ask how to solve this secret? Well, u have to give him 20 breads. Crazy.
Name: Walter
Owner of the bazaar, he is a serious man with little words, but he is the most popular NPC in Dunbarton because the part-time job he provides can help dressmaker lvl up the skill.
One more thing, how are you supposed to give Stewart 20 bread to get in? Do you just carry it in your inventory or click a certain phrase??
