Ask any questions here. Some of us have played Mabinogi like me, Hyuk and a few others I don't know of at MMOsite >_> I'm not too knowledgeable about recent updates since I don't play anymore so I hope others could help ^^

Recent updates in Korea has been C2G8S1, which means Chapter 2, Generation 8, Section 1.

Something new did happen in mabinogi, such as new boss, new area(look like volcanoes, i dont know exact name),new pets. Well, I shall say something about new pets, I saw a girl riding a whisk, it's AMAZING!

I played in Chinese server, and the latest version in China is C2G7S1, lol, it's totally a whole generation behind Korea...

Yesterday i logon the game, i found something interesting in tropic forest. New skills had been opened, I'm trying to collect more about this ...

just curious cuz I've seen a lot of great things in the other generations like the artic, the jungles, etc..... but what are we gonna get in chapter one generation one? o.o

They have fossil mining in korea >_< What new skills do you exactly find?

EnMabi might start in G1. I'm hoping for higher.

Here's one for you;

Can you list the specifics of team based combat and how far it goes in Mabinogi? Meaning; Are there guild wars? Castle sieges? Realm wars? Any other huge group vs. group combats? And also are there raids that require parties to take down a tough boss for rewards?

I'm assuming this is F2P? If so, do cash shop items give an edge to players who can afford to pay real money? Is in-game trading of cash shop items with in-game cash allowed?

Castle sieges? Lol, yes, of course, but it's a kind of event, i have experienced twice, in the castle sieges, Thousands of monsters flooded into the city, they are all bosses of senior-level dungeon and awesome areas, it was exciting! They can drop perfect items when you kill them.

Your last question, yes, in mabinogi, there are lots of area bosses, they appear in certain area in a random time, some of them are extremely awful, if you want to kill them for rewards you should get a team.

btw, what i explain is not based on recent mabinogi. players become more stronger in recent mabinogi, i usually do high-level instance missions by myself, lol...

You need AP to raise ur skills, u can get AP in 3 ways, Ageing, Leveling and Quests,so once ur skill bar thingy is full cuz u used it alot, the game will tell you it is qualified for an upgrade,then u use AP to upgrade the skill w/e.
Aging - in the game when u create ur charatcer, most ppl make their charcter age 10, i will explain here, Every Saturday in real life ur guy ages one year and u get AP for aging, the younger you are the more AP u get when u age, but the older you are, the stronger, i guess, but as you gte older, u stop getting AP whne u age, but sometimes, when u get old enough, u can get certain "titles"(which ill talk bout l8er)
Leveling - U kill monsters blah blah u lvl up blah blah u get AP, done :)
Quests - same as above, some quests give Ap so yeah tahts cool
the EDGE is that for aging, when u get too old u can do something called a REBIRTH, and what that does, it resets your age so your back to age 10(or older if u want) and u can change teh appearance and gender of your charcter, and resets ur lvl back to 1 also, so all the stats u had from lvling and aging go away but stats u get from skills stay cuz the RANK of your skils stay also, so gain more AP when u age and w/e and u can make ur skills really strong, so if u played for a REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYY long time, u could Max out ALLLLLLLL the skills and be like the super duper mabinogi master O_O

wat r the most fun things about this game?

I have 2 questions right now:

1. I see a lot of people start their new character at the age of 10. Lower age means lower starting stats. Why do people start at younger ages?

2. I can't duel wield a sword and a stick. But I see people holding two swords. I will be able to hold two swords if I get second sword, right? I don't have to learn to duel wield?

your second question, I know what you mean, yes, but maybe in this cb, "two-hand holding weapon" would not be released, and not all swords can be hold when you have already hold one.

There are a lot of things you can do. My personal favourite is just hanging out with friends, going through dungeons with people and talking to the npcs. (I haven't done that but now I can X3 Well, soon =P)


Sticks are classified as a mace and you can't dual wield different categories. Also, only giants can dual wield maces.

According to the korean update list (Provided by the people of Mabi World ^^), it seems dual wielding was put in G4 but that will probably come sooner since other servers have different updates.
