I guess the fastest way is to do NPC battle?? I'm not sure, cuz I haven't been playing for a long while but that's my answer if I'm not wrong.

If you are very skillful you can try NPC battles as they give the most dens, or play team battles with other players.
If you do not have skills, and you have lots of money, you can buy cash items and sell it. ^^ But I would not recommend you to buy many cash items and sell it as it is waste of money. Find someone that hack in NPC battles, join them and leech their dens if you really do not have skills.
