Pet – How to obtain Balla

First go to Lan Chow near the warehouse coordinate (60.61around) to find a NPC called Mu Rong Hua. There, you will be able to obtain a pet quest from her.

Then, go to outside Lan Chow, near the top left hand side of the map (71.401 around) to find the Balla egg.

After finding the egg, go back to Lan Chow city and talk to Mu Rong Hua. She will tell you that in order to hatch the balla egg, you need to obtain these following items:

Big Balla's basket x1
Monster flower's soil x5
Big snail's extract x5

After gathering the above materials, go back to Mu Rong Hua and give the materials to her.Talk to Mu Rong Hua again and WALA! You have just obtained a balla as your pet!!!

Pet – How to obtain Progeny of Rei

Notice: Level 40+ is required to use this pet

First go to Lan Chow near the warehouse coordinate (60.61around) to find a NPC called Mu Rong Hua. There, you will be able to obtain a pet quest from her.

Now you must go to the entrance of Mo Go Cave to find the Corrupted Progeny of Rei located on (around 235,468) and talk to him.

Then, you have to kill flying columns in order to get the quest items.

After getting the required quest items, go back to the Corrupted Progeny of Rei and talk to him. And then you need to kill Progeny of Rei to get ten wings, kill Red Scorpions to get five rain cloud bottles, kill museum thief to get five lightening bottles and finally kill Mo Go Spirit to get one bell of summoning.

After getting all these quest items, go back to Lan Chow and talk to Mu Rong Hua. She will ask you to find a box in Hua Chin pool.

The box is located towards the bottom left of the map (around 89.125). It is recommended that you maximize your map for easier finding.

After obtaining the box, go back to Mu Rong Hua and get your reward ---the Progeny of Rei!!!

Pet Skills and Effects

--Balla (a free pet, obtainable by doing a quest, check the above introductions for details)
Effect: Allows the owner to have more evacuation rate.
Evolution of Pet:
Step 1 +3% evacuation rate/ no extra storage
Step 2 +8% evacuation rate/ no extra storage
Step 3 +15% evacuation rate/ extra storage of 20 blocks

--Progeny of Rei (a free pet obtainable by doing a quest, check the above introductions for details)
Effect: Enhance physical damage
Evolution of pet:
Step 1 +20% physical damage/ no extra storage
Step 2 +40% physical damage/ extra storage of 20 blocks
Step 3 +70% physical damage/ extra storage of 20 blocks

--Hon Zi ( Can be obtained by purchasing a MSO product: Mo Siang goodie bags or Road Shows)
Effect: Enhance evacuation rate and all status
Step 1: +15% evacuation rate/ extra storage of 20 blocks/ All stats＋ 5
Step 2: +15% evacuation rate/ extra storage of 40 blocks/ All stats＋10
Step 3: +15% evacuation rate/ extra storage of 60 blocks/ All stats＋15

--Wo Long ( Can be obtained by purchasing a MSO product: Mo Siang goodie bags or Road Shows)
Effect: Enhance drop rate and increase all status
Level1: item drop quantity x2 / extra storage of 20 blocks / All status＋5
Level2: item drop quantity x2 / extra storage of 40 blocks / All status＋10
Level3: item drop quantity x2 / extra storage of 60 blocks / All status＋15

Details about increasing Closeness Rate

(Closeness Earring – Effect: increase closeness rate by 50%)
Level1: Usually 30 minutes +1 closeness (using the earring 20 minutes +1 closeness)
Level2: Usually 80 minutes +1 closeness (using the earring 53 minutes +1 closeness)
Level3: Usually 360 minutes +1 closeness (using the earring 240 minutes +1 closeness)

How much does it cost to make closeness 100%?
We will calculate this by using apples
Every minute = 1 apple = 300 fullness = 1500 = every minute is 300
Level1: Increase closeness 1% = 30 minutes – 70% = 2100 minutes = 35 hours = 630000
Level2: Increase closeness 1% = 80 minutes – 70% = 5600 minutes = 93.3 hours = 1680000
Level3: Increase closeness 1% = 360 minutes – 70% = 25200 minutes = 420hours = 7560000

Trading a Pet

Balla and Progeny of Rei can be traded at all 3 steps. However, after trading, closeness will decrease 10%. If closeness is under 30%, it cannot be traded.

Hon Zi, Wo Long, Fon Lin can be traded when they are still sealed. However, after summoning, it cannot be traded.

how to up balla lvl

when friendship level is 100%, buy lv 2 evolve potion from Mu Rong Hua, pet trainer NPC. Use the potion on your pet and it will evolve to lv 2. Same for lvling it up to lv3. If fail to evolve to lv 2 or 3, your pet's friendships drops 10% and waste 100K (lv 2 evolution) or 300k (lv3 evolution).

one more, when u die ur pet closeness drops by 10%

so, assuming that u need 1/2 an hour to up 1% friendship, when u die once(mayb bcoz of lag or dc) then u waste 300 minutes(5 hours) worth of pet food

and pet food isnt exactly cheap, one apple(300 hunger recovery) costs 1.5k!!! huh, not to mention it only takes up about 15 seconds (correct me if im wrong) to deplete 300 hunger

uop, you can look for participating cybercafe to get the Mo Hun Cards (RM4). Mo Hun I is from item mall. Other ways, you might want to check out at ms.runup.com.my to find out the list of their resellers located at Penang.

can i ask? how many % of failure when wan to lvl up pet from lv1 to lv2?

what about the % of failure for lv2 to lv3?

Upgrading pet its abit similar like how you work on combine. You catch the right pattern of the success & failure rate, higher chance you get upgrade your pet without hassle.
