Hi guys im about 90% sure im gunna get FFXI right now
but one major thing is im not fond of goin all out on my char
and then walk into a room and see 20 peple who look exactly like him

with customization,armor, are your chars unique from everyone elses?

Yep don't worry. When you make your character your offered like 12 hairstyles, plus twop different colors with that hair, also there's so much armor, hats, etc. That your character will stand out. Also if you want to stand out more, choose a job that no one has. Like everyone is the basic 6 jobs (warrior, black mage, white mage, thief, red mage, and.... crap I forgot the last one! O.O;). But when your unlocking new jobs, like corsair or blue mage, there's some of them that few people pick; for example corsair.

Lol to make a long story short, yes you will stand out
