Hello THis Is The Poetry Section. I'll Start Off.

Splendor Is In The Memories

The Beauteous Yesterday,
Is Fading Away Like A Blushed Twilight,
Though Nothing Can Bring Back,
The Hours Of Sweet Treasured Past,
I Will Grieve Not,
But Rather Find Splendor,
In The Memories

Cruelty

Oh what wretched power it is you weave,
The mystical, almost poetic way, your charms deceive.
From falls of brown and raven, to ringlets of yellow and gold
Truly, such creatures are a curse, a remanent from the times of old.

Michael Grantham

This is a poem. Four lines and the correct amount of rhyme, rhythm, style and atmosphere. Poetry should be constructed, not simply written.

Well technically a poem doesn't have to have a rhythm as long as its along some sort of parameter... Though I do find the free-style type of poetry type of silly myself, I still stand by that it is still poetry.
What I don't stand by is that even if it is frestyle- that's horrible grammar mate ^.^

And since this is a poetry section: why not.

Does anything matter?
By Kei.

Rip it out
Take it out;
It doesn't matter anymore.

It's an unbearable pain;
Is it what makes me insane?
But yet, I don't think it matters anymore.

Breathe in, Breathe out;
Grip your fist and take it out;
It doesn't matter anymore.

Nothing matters anymore;
And so I spoke nevermore;
shalt it be like this forever more?

Grab your heart and pull it out;
Hold your head together, it's almost done.
Close your eyes, for the beast is out...

As the war torn beasts clatter,
They forget the question that ever mattered.
Does anything matter?

Recently written (last week maybe?) It's not my best but I still think its good. In the end it's weird, might sound like gibberish but it should be thought-provoking.
