Just wondering being a moderator I can try and organize some events in this forum. Just want to see what kind of event you guys would like to see held in this forum. Though there are many event running at the moment.

The I will look through the list and choose a few of the ideas, modify them if the need to be modified and then you guys can take a vote for which event you think will be the best to be run in the forum.

Once there are enough idea I will give the clossing date for all ideas and then the voting can begin.

hmm i have a few suggestions,

1]movie event!!, players take videos of them in games, then edit, add sound/subtitles, bgm and stuff, if that happens imma gonna send in my in a way comedy style 2moons vid which is still like 5% in progress...

2]lyric writing!!, players make lyrics, of any genre and post it up but the song must be related to 2moons, optional- come up with a tune for it??

ill post more ideas when more shit comes in my mind

I think it could be pritty funny. People could come up with the strangest things. But would be cool I thinks it should be one of the final ideas.

Screenshot comic strip event, players take screenshot in game and make storylines with comic strips..

That Music Video idea is awesome. I also like the comic book strip idea. I can't think of any ideas considering the fact that bob was way ahead of me lol(he thought of the same thing I did), I think those ideas are great for some contests!

I like both the music video idea and the comic strip. Elaborating on the drawing field what about a contest for artists that draw their favorite class and the winner is the one with the best drawing.

There could also be a signature of the week contest if there enough graphic artists here.

A short story contest (which they had in 2moons form recently)

A screenshot contest (make it specific)

And since deadfront just came out the first one that can give us screenshot proof they beat it. >:D lol.

Movie sounds kinda hard for the average player. They will need to buy fraps or something. I'm thinking something easy like a screenshot contest or short story.

lol, yea...the freeware couldnt take videos...anyways they could always use handycams or such =)...or ill try to find a free in-game video footaging program..

Maybe you could do the video in a group and we can have a group competition. Groups of about 3-4 I think. Also the comic strip idea could be pretty awsome aswell.

I'm just afraid there won't be enough participaters.

LOL, as long as there are prizes, there is bound to be participants, look at the halloween contest, and the deadfront launch contest held on mmosite, ahaha post counts increased drastically, maybe these contests are less demanding, so imma thinking maybe video would be a litte too difficult for the average players, but comic strip as stratis said might be awesome!!

how about wallpaper contest? using stock images provided by contest judges and using w/e program they set, like photoshop or 3ds max.

LOL, wallpaper would be nice, i could do some fancy shit with cs3 if i ever get it...and mwbentu...there is A GUIDE on how to make videos which i posted the link on some other thread, and if video event takes place im pretty sure the mods/admins/staffs would post it up too....and as for the freeware, im still looking...

lmao im on my work computer at the moment and it has CS3 on it, i really cant find to much difference between it and cs2 except for some stock images and i guess streamlined controls imo. unless you do really advanced imaging im not sure you would find a use for all the new stuff.
