Ok, I recently started an Incar and have been trying to plan the perfect build for me ;) I have read numerous forums and listened to the advice of many to ultimately decide on a Fire/Light and 2hp/3spr build. One issue I've run into however is that the spell descriptions given on the Skill Simulator are rather vague and don't really describe what the spell does.

Soooooo! I have an idea. I'm going to write out all the spells and give a brief description of what it does based on my knowledge. I'm then going to take the input of those on this forum and fill in the blanks to the ones I don't know. I will place a "???" in the description if I don't know or am unsure of what I wrote. Please use my format (skill name then description) when posting so I can easily see what to change. Feel free to add your own opinion of the spell...but don't put it into the description please.

Ok, so here a goes.

well first of all, the best way to see what a spell does, over advice from players, is to use it yourself. you are fire/lightning, so you can delete the whole Ice part, as it does not fit what you are doing. I dont know much about incars, sorry I cannot help with what everything does and if it is a better skill than such and such, because cooltime is a large factor for incars, and you have not added that crucial information.

and you decided on a build. you make me sad, I want people to not be clones of each other, but everyone just makes the same character same build same spells. so very sad. I hope you can change it up and just add stats where you want, not always 2/3. you will have no experience. no fun. everything is planned out for you. I just add things as I feel I need them. makes it exciting, will I have more health next level? will I pump spr for my next weapon? am I going to be doing more damage? I dont know, but when I reach taht next level I have the rush of a possible new skill, 5 more points to add wherever I please, a new skill point to refine myself, and possibility of many new quests! Exciting! having set builds and all that takes the fun out. you wont get the thrill. so sad.

I think you misunderstood me. I'm not asking for descriptions of skills just for what I want. I'm seeking to make a list of comprehensive descriptions for all of the Incar's skills. I can't possibly use all the skills myself since there wouldn't be enough skill points even if I was max level. I'm creating this list for everyones benefit.

I'm also not asking for cooldown times or MP usage or stuff like that. Those are covered by MMOsite's skill emulator. I am not even asking which skills are better. I want descriptions for what the spells do. Are they Area of Effect spells? Can you cast them at something or do they blast around the caster? Are they single target only? Do they have long or short ranges? These are the questions I'm looking to have answered so that everyone can decide for themselves what they would like their mage to do.

Again, this isn't a "whats best" thread.

Thanks Falkner. I'm trying to keep the list updated as best I can, but I'm not getting very many replies. I figure most people are in the same boat and don't really know. I have this same thread on some other 2moon forums to try and get more response.

Hi, i was also thinking of creating a post like this... but i am only in 19 so cant tell you to much.

But i will share what i have discoverd.

Casting time:

Energy Jab, Seize Nimbis, Mana Force, Ice Bolt, Ice Wave, Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning has (the same casting time?)( 1 sec).

So my guess is that all "1 attack" spells have that casting speed.

Range:

The range is very hard to say without the script. (i dont even know if the use yard or meters or somthing else.

But...Seize Nimbis and mana force is on self CANT be casted on others witch give them 0 in range.

Energy Jab has the shortes range of all i have tried beside i have an idée that all the others (Ice Bolt, Ice Wave, Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning has the same range).

And that Energy Jab has about ½ of the others range. BUT know that Lightning Bolt has the RANGE but its "bugged" so u have like 5% chans to hitt on max range... so I only use it on close distances becuse it worthless on far distances.

If i make a "guess" i would say Energy Jab´s distance is twice and a half incar mage laying on the ground. And the "others" has five incar mages distance. BUT THATS A WILD GUESS. ^^

Area efect spells. the only area efect of the spells i have tryed (Energy Jab, Ice Bolt, Ice Wave, Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning) is the lighting skills both Chain Lightning AND Lightning Bolt has area efect. The Chain Lightning´s area is quite wieard it seme to change... but i would say about one incarmage laying on the ground in all directions from the place you hit. Lightning Bolt HAS a area efect du its "VERY small", or rather... VERY wierd. Somtimes when the enemy is ON the other enemy so you only can see one of them you only hit one. Somtimes when the other enemy is a half incar mage away you hit... its very stange. But it got a srea efect witch make it quite usefull in the beginning.

I haven played for som days so the fact maby not perfect, i will add if i find anything more.

Doh much text surly you dont understund a lot of it my english isnt the best... just ask and i will try to explane.

Thanks noarmor for you input. I updated a few things based on what you said. However, I dont think i'm going to add much more on the ranges of the spells. Most of the spells have the same range (aside from Energy jab) but are different in how they attack.

Since I use lightning, i have quiet a bit of experience with Bolt and Chain. I can say, they are both amazingly effective, but take some practice. Unlike the other mage spells, you have to imagine that your throwing a spear that is going to pass through your target and hit whats behind.

With bolt, I've found that targeting the creature in front will sometimes allow the bolt to travel through and on into a target behind. Of course, the targets have to pretty much be in a straight line for this to happen. When targeting the creature behind another one, I've mostly found that the first target the bolt hits stops the bolt IF it is not the targeted creature. Sometimes the bolt will hit the back target, but I've found that only happens when the targets are relatively close to each other.

Chain lightning is different than bolt in lots of ways. Instead of thinking of a spear that will follow a straight line through, think of a throwing a disc. Targets don't have to be in line with each other, but instead, just close to each other. On top of that, if they are close enough to each other, the hit SOMETIMES sparks a splash damage AoE around EACH target that damages those close by. If you hit 2 mobs that are close to each other, than you do double damage to both. If there are 3 mobs, then you do triple damage to all three. The best strategy is for its use is to find mobs that are aggressive and run around till you have max agro and they are running next to each other. 2 or 3 casts can usually take out a whole group if you get some good AoE procs. It really is an awesome AoE when you learn how to take advantage of it.

That may be a good way to level
But, theres always a little problem to every solution
such as in this theory.
So far, in my Incar experience ( From level 1 to level 5X )
Lighting is a good way to level up, but in every aspect
theres a freaking Archer in the way. But, it was also my way of leveling just need some pots or heal stat.

I was wonder how much of a % for each point invested.
ie. 1 point = 1,2,3%
or with 10 points in the mastery how much of a % is it increasing my stuff by.
