When i grind with elementalist i dont have to call my summoned monsters right?

but if i fight monsters 1 on 1 i can better use them then right?

yes i believe you can go 1 on 1... but you will get it done faster and easier if you use your help.. but im not sure if it will makea diff. with the xp .. id think it would get you more without useing your help, but still im not sure ...
