MMOSITE.COM: According to the title Episode II: Season of Siege, the siege warfare must be the highlight of the expansion. How can players participate in siege war? And what benefits can they gain if they win the war?Mr. Ktat: Episode II: Season of Siege features more content than just the sieges. Players can participate in the siege warfare by being part of a guild that s been around for longer than seven days. They then apply to one of the siege NPCs to take part in the siege warfare. Guilds will then be selected before the event and put forward to take part in the castle battles.
The battle will then commence at the designated time, and players must fight for the right to call the castle their own. If players capture the castle they will receive a number of benefits; this includes the exclusive use of the castle for their guild, the right to challenge to become the ArchLord and they ll also be able to collect tax on the NPC transactions that take place in their local area.
MMOSITE.COM: You mentioned that the ArchLord would receive new armour, spells, etc. Can you provide us more details about these rewards and benefits? Once a player becomes the ArchLord, how long can he/she keep the ArchLord crown? Are there any penalties if the player crowned ArchLord is defeated? Mr. Ktat: The player that is lucky enough to be crowned ArchLord will get a number of benefits. This includes the exclusive dragon mount, the only flying mount available in the game and I can assure you its very impressive looking. You will also gain access to exclusive powers; this includes special AOE spells, the ability to change the weather and other devastating attacks. They will also be able to have their own set of Royal knights to defend them, these will be chosen guild members who will receive special armour sets.
The ArchLord is going to be pretty tough, as you d expect yet I am sure that players will look forward to the chance to PvP them. If an ArchLord dies in NPC/Monster combat they will suffer no penalties but if they die when challenged by another player they will loose their status as the ArchLord and all the gifts that go with it. However players will still need to wait until 28 days have expired from crowning before they can challenge again.
