No one is really talking about the game so far????


What are your first impressions, and the like?

1. I was impressed that it was seamless. Yay.

2. Music was impressive...they rotated the music a bit and it changes per area. Better than the same music OVER and OVER (Silkroad!).

3. Graphics were decent.

4. I liked the trainee portion. Gets us to know the game better.

5. The community so far seems alright. I've only had one person KS me.

6. not enough mobs?

(more to write later..i'm only lvl 8)

At the beginning, I was highly enjoying it, but now I'm just annoying quests I have no time to do, One quest I have to kill a total of 40 monsters, I'm just glad I'm doing two quests that require the same amount of monsters and types, at once, because it's hard to find alot of monsters with all the players taking one quickly.

Pretty nifty.

Good graphics and music.
Pets! Mounts!

I cant wait until the dungeons.
Ive seen some screens of some really nice pets like angels.

true. pets are smexcy!!! but too little amount of spawn =[

1) Graphics have the Blur effects which makes it beautiful but hurts my eyes :(

2) I can't use my keyboard for movement.

3) I love the music, but needs more a feel to current areas, and areas need to be more vast as well as how fare you can see & what it generates!

4) I look incredibly dead. Don't look lively with any emotions -_-


5) NPC chat could better, doon't like half a word there and then another half on the other, need to make text smaller so it fits :D

6) Need better animation and sounds for character T.T

7) Still doesn't feel smooth... I dunno I have two monitors on one computer so that could be it :(

the graphic is one of the best of its kind! one of the best of all low-budget free2play mmos! the enviorment is jus astonishing!!! with many objects and detailed! lo0k at the trees its so0 nice! if u r a true graphic guru u should kno that the background enviorment is a perfect 10! also i like the fact that it has hills and down-hills... most mmos r jus plain and flat! the enviorment is even far beyond high-budget pay2play lineage2! lineage2s enviorment is jus shiiiety plain without many objects! remember im not talking about the charecter modeling, im talking about the enviorment alone.

the music was splendid!!!! the music has more variety unlike most mmos where it always lo0p the same music over and over but rappelz has more than 4 music! and most of the music is nice in the ear! i love to grind with a nice music! go0d music makes me more into it! also one of the music reminds me of zelda! which is great! however their sound effects need to go!!! i mean they dont have any birdie or other natural sound in the background at all!!! all i hear is music!! i hope they fix that later on.

the mobs.... i oftenly see mobs that wont disapear after being killed... it jus stuck there! and thats probly y they seems to have less mob! and mobs are to0 far away from each other! overall the mobs is jus to0 less in this game! many non-intentionally and intentionally kill-stealing session going on. i hope when out of open-beta they will fix the mob population.

oh and theres this one clown named gsuz that be hogging and spamming the chat window.... unnesessarily criticizing peoples english and attacking poeples mentally! well being a clown with a big mouth is not a crime, i was being a big mouth myself! but not a big dirty mouth like him! all i shout is telling peoples my opinion on this and that and asking questions about the game etc... but him... no0! hes more of attking people like omg!!!! overall i think hes a real clown. and yes i am XiahYee and the same in LastChaos that always be shouting "i love Tiina!"

as for the gameplay.... i cant say yet... my highest to0n is only 9. thats all i think so far about rappelz.

i play rappelz on x700pro pci-e.... set everything to max.... i get 15-30fps! jus want to say that all mmorpg weather or wheather it be a high-budget mmo or low-budget mmo.... free2play mmo or pay2play mmo.... u got to have a go0d video card!!!! a go0d video card is crucial for every mmorpg! due to the fact that its more than 100s of poeple in 1 server.... and if theres many objects and player on ur screen u will lagg!!! especially in towns! to reduce that... u need a go0d video card! and overall jus a go0d computer spec.

but if the lagg cums from the client side... then it doesnt matter if u have a crap rig or top dog rig. example... silkroad which has server reliability issues which cause lagg-ness.

1. Graphics. Nice, but i'm gonna go with nothing extra. I think previous posts over-rated it, but it's just a matter of personal taste.
2. Music. Again, I found nothing special about it. Though I have to admit, music is what I usually turn off first, since I'd rather hear the cling of steel, the magig effects, the monster screams.
3. Sound effects. Nice effects, although they get very repetative after a while.
4. Gameplay. On the one hand, some nice features (even if they are not all original):
- mounts,
- force chips (already found in L2),
- pets (already found in other MMOs, Silkroad, Flyff),
- jobs (which are basically skills, but some were quite original),
- animal training (again, not original, see Hero Online, but well implemented).
On the other hand, some horrific features:
- running speed: oh, my god... what were the developers thinking? Just barely faster than a snail on speed.
- attack speeds: again, if a warrior swung a sword that "fast", he'd be dead in no time.
- mob spawns: way, way too little, especially with the growing number of players.
- drops: nothing special. 'nough said.

I participated in closed beta and was hoping the developers would actually correct some of the things people mentioned. I'll wait for the actual game to come out, maybe they will change some things.

Well no game is perfect. I guess what it comes down to for me is:

1. This game is beautiful.

2. The pet system.

For me the pet system is great, more than just for the standard reasons. I like to try out different classes. Most games when you do this you can not keep anything you have worked toward on your other characters. I can transfer my pet between characters and it helps me level up new characters faster. The shared warehouse helps with this too.

1. Decent game.
2. Level cap is high so you won't reach the cap with only a few months of playing
3. Good skill JP system
4. Pet system with pet skills
5. Male and Female choice on every class! (rare on asian games)
5. Turned off BMG.

I had a fun time with it. I was surprised By how many people were complaining about lag time while I was playing. I mean come on this is a free game and a workin progress. There still are other mmos I want to try out. All in all the graphics were great, music nice, but I thought they gave 1st-5thLv too meany free items.
I plan to keep playing it on my breaks from WoW. Remember to play to have fun and not play to be a critic. Peace Out.

Game is good if you like to grind basically. After 27 you get very fre quests per level if that. I mean from 47-50 theres a total of 1 quest. The only really bad part is the devs/gms underestimate our leveling speed. I was told about 2 weeks ago that "The 2nd class quest will be out before anyone is ready for it" That was 2 weeks ago, and me and my guild are all 50+ and have JL 40 and there is no sight of it coming out anytime in the near future (we are expecting at least a few months before they are released) Which basically leaves us with nothing to do but mass jp farm, which is not very fun at all >.> But besides that, graphics are decent, especially for a free game. Game play is fun, can get a little boring in a mass grind but its still fun.

The game was a good diversion, I played it till my character was 22 or so. Yet, some of the games coming out during this year look so much better that I ended up dropping rappelz. All these games consume a lot of time...

I stopped playing :( I didn't like the intensive grind and the REALLY SLOW game play...OMG...BORED walking to and from places.

I agree that after the mid 20's level the grinds do kinda get boring. I'm at lvl31 at the moment and the ONLY thing keeping the game interesting is the chat between the guild members. It make's for a nice diversion from the mindless grinding. It would be nice to have much more variety than what's there.

was good at first. annoying quest and stamina problems but it is better then most.

I quit aswel, I had a hard times with the quests and I just couldn't get the kills or things I wanted.. The screenshots of the game are nice and believe me, those graphics rock.. But I hoped it was more entertaining..
