I plan on posting a game tip each week (that you'll hopefully hear here 1st).

My tip for you this week -

If you plan on being shaolin, your level 8 quest will ask you to tell the gate guard that: "you want to enter the temple to make an offering to Budda." The game makes it clear that this would be telling a lie but because the shaolin are not accepting new members this is your only chance to enter the temple.

While you will enter the temple and become an aprentice if you tell the lie; this is actually a test and you are rewarded for being truthful.

SO

When the gate guard ask what you want, Answer to join shaolin. You'll get rejected and have to repeat this process at each of the gates. At the last gate the guard will praise your virtue for not stooping to lieing and will not only let you in but also give you a bonus item.

the bonus item is an extra "silver satchel" -- not a great item but it is something and you maintain the path of virtue like a true shaolin should.

ohhhh i get it now. you can get the item and get past the gate AND then dont talk to the shaolin master so that you can don't join Shaolin. Will do that :)

i done that. now how to get rid of the incense? i also got the Thief's recommendation stuck in my inventory...

drop the quest

i dropped both quests already. 'Give up' i mean. but the 2 items are still around..

ADVICE: Dont take on quests with quests items. Cannot be get rid of. Im at OC3 and i still got those 2 items stuck in my inventory...
