Dance Groove Online is a massive multi-player online rhythm based game mixed in with RPG elements, developed by Outspark, an America-based company. The game now has launched the closed-beta on July 31.



Controls are easy enough for the casual user, but for the hardcore, it's all about the 8 button mode. While battling others, the better your character or crew performs, the bigger the spotlight you'll get.







What sets DGO apart from other dance games is personal character progression with avatar customization. With over hundreds of different looks, you choose how your character or crew will stand out from the others.

Outspark will held a celebration for DGO with a dance party on August 5 at 4-6pm PDT. Player in any level can join it and get 100% EXP Boost and, 3 lucky players can win an iPod Nano with $10 iTunes gift card.

if you notice carefully it's quite a new style of game play. Instead of Audition's display of arrows, or SDO's DDR style, it is side scrolling DDR instead.

I really enjoyed playing during CBT. I stopped at lvl 20 because there will be a wipe anyways. ^_^

Best dance game ever made,i love it and i have spent many hours playing it and have made quite a few friends, it has great lighting and a unique dance system.

I found it extremely fun, and it mainly keeps up with the beat of the songs. Also its not a constant "SPACE BAR" dance game. So thats mainly why I liked it.
