OK, so I figured it was high time I shared with you all the awesomeness of Luna Online ;)

I have seen a lot of threads i looking for high quality, free to play games and in my opinion, Luna Online is one of the best. (It is still in Open Beta, however it already seems to have tons of potential.)

In addition to it's amazing community, Luna Online has a lot of unique and innovative features that set it apart from other games.

When you first create your character in Luna Online, you'll have the option to choose one of three base job classes: The Fighter, Mage, or Rogue. Fighters excel at soaking up damage but can dish out a beating if they need to. Mages are Luna Online's magical masters, able to harness the elements to defeat their enemies or heal their allies with the power of nature. Rogues are sneaky and selfish, striking from the shadows with daggers or bows, claiming their loot, and disappearing back into the darkness.

At level 20, players will get to put their skills to the test by embarking on their first job change quest, and as they continue to level up, they'll be able to continue to customize their character into a virtual avatar that perfectly matches their play style.

One of the greatest things I have found with Luna is the seemingly endless amount of job changes. With over 40 different unique job classes, and hundreds of skills, no two characters are the same. I have played tons of other MMO's, and I got bored quickly with the limited races and classes available.

In addition to tons of classes, Luna also has tons of non-combat activities from trade skills like construction and deconstruction to vendoring, fishing, and farming.

I mean, there always comes a point in time where we want a break from grinding and completing quests. An important aspect in an MMO to me is being able to stay entertained, even if I need a break from the grind.

Farming in Luna Online gives you a chance to earn powerful items and power-ups that are extremely difficult to earn any other way, and maybe even earn a little gold in the process. If you tend to your crops and keep them properly fertilized, some of the fruits and veggies you grow will contain rare items like upgrade scrolls -- power-ups that allow you to improve your weapons and armor, breathing new life into that old shield or making your latest and greatest bow even more legendary. You can also earn powerful accessories like magical rings and necklaces.

Farming's a family affair in Luna Online, so you'll need to be a member of a 5-person family in order to purchase and tend a farm. Think of families as mini-guilds - a group of 5 close friends that enjoy playing together and don't mind sharing the same last name.

Once you purchase a farm, which requires 2 million gold and a level-50 family head, any member of the family will be able to use the farm to raise their own crops. Farms in Luna Online are a great way to make a small personal fortune for you and your family and to earn a steady supply of rare in-game items. Now seriously. Have you ever seen an MMO where you can get all kinds of nifty items for growing veggies? ;)

Unlike other areas in Luna Online, there's only one instance of the Alker Farm region per server rather than per channel. That means the entire server will be vying for the 60 available farm locations, making farms extremely valuable property and one of Luna Online's most valuable commodities.

And if you still are looking for more recreational activities, Luna Online features.....Fishing! :D

Fishing in Luna Online is much more than just idly watching your bait bob up and down -- It's fast, dynamic, and fun! And it's the only way to get cool exclusive in-game rewards.

Players will be able start their fishing adventure by visiting Fishercat, Luna Online's resident Fishing Manager. You'll find him near the windmill in the Alker Farm region. He'll sell you your first fishing pole and some cheap bait and set you on your way to becoming an expert fisherman. Or woman. :)

Fishing locations are scattered throughout the Alker Farm region, and once you find one, fishing's as easy as activating your fishing skill and casting until your bait runs out. With each cast, you'll get to play a fun mini-game that'll put your timing to the test. Hit your left control key at the right time as the gauge slides from right to left to significantly increase your chance of catching a fish.

Your success as a fisherman is reliant on more than just your timing, however. As you fish, your fishing skill will improve, allowing you to hook more interesting catches. The weather will also affect the kinds of fish swimming in the water. For example, fishing on a windy day will increase your chance of catching a specific type of fish while casting your line in a typhoon means you're more likely to catch other items set awash by the storm.

Once you've amassed a bountiful catch, you can return to Fishercat and turn in your fish for fishing points you can exchange for superior fishing poles, bait, and fun fish-themed items and armor.

These are only a few of the awesome features of Luna.... PKing, tons of quests, a pet system... you will never get bored. I know I sure didn't. :D

Now, more awesome Luna pictures.

My IGN is Snuggles. Please feel free to add me, I always love having new friends to play with. :D

I started playing luna a few days ago and I love it.. I'd just hope that there'd be clearer explanations with the job change quests.. since there's just the name of the job, but no description on what sort of equipments or skills a certain job has, and some players might even quite this great game just because they've spent a day on getting to level 20, just to choose the wrong job. and that's exactly what happened to me.. was gonna be a dagger rogue, but became a voyager, due to a lack of guidance..
well I didnt let that keep me down, I made a mage instead.. now I'm level 34 and going up fast.

see you all on luna ^^
