yes it is real, heres what they did:

In July 2008, MAIET signed a contract to release the sequel for GunZ, titled GunZ: The Duel 2.[citation needed] Although it is stated not to be an entirely new game, there are significant new graphics and other changes. The sequel includes new character models, new maps, redesigned versions of the current maps, a new aiming system and much more. It is scheduled for release in Korea in the second half of 2009

well Gunz in my opinion is one of them games you play for awhile and simply get bored of. So to me, this isn't very exciting news.

Anyway . Gunz still a good MMOFPS. At least recently. There dont have any MMOFPS can get such a large number of players.

lols. Sometimes game get more hackers means that MMO is popular enough to make many hackers take their attention to this game..
