NCsoft is scheduled to announce its new MMORPG Blade & Soul (namely Project M) on July 31. Blade & Soul is under development by Lineage II development team, and the characters in this oriental style MMORPG are designed by the well-known illustrator HyungTae Kim. It is set in an oriental fantasy world and will use Unreal Engine 3.



Game Features:
Japanese martial arts
Players might be familiar with such martial arts terms as palm wind, internal skill (neigong) and flying skill (qinggong) which are all available in Blade & Soul. In Blade & Soul, players will have a chance to feel the essence of martialism, chivalrousness and loyalty.

Ever-changing world
The story in Blade & Soul will progress in a way totally different from other MMORPGs. And the things in the game will evolve with the progress of the story.

It looks awesome, I love the look of the characters.
I hope it's getting F2P, but for this quality I would also P2P, that's worth my cash.
On the video the battles look pretty cool, it looks full of action. Hope they'll show more soon.

U wont believed that's a Game based on PC!! When I saw that. I even think that's a PS3 GAME..

I doubt that this game will be free to play. I'd assume they would charge $14.99 like Lineage II. Game looks great though. I just want to know if there will be mass pvp.

There seems to be 2 races, 1 uses swords, the other uses gauntlets. Which you do prefer, from watching the video?

I like both, but the 6 flying swords is HAWT!

I might even drop Aion for this game or play both (and Metal Black now and then as it seems it'll be released as F2P). The game will definitely be P2P and will have massive battles as Lineage 2 team is working on it. I have to disagree on your "assumption" of two races. If you watch closely they showed a few classes with female and male chars. After watching this video I started truly to envy Koreans, as they'll get a chance to try this game much, much sooner. I'm more hyped about B&S than I ever was about Aion. lol
