For those of you undecided, I've played ALL of them. And they are all different in what you truly want.
TL;DR: Maplestory: Try it. You'll stay with it the longest, but it'll leave bad memories.
Wonderking: Try it, but don't expect much.
Ghost Online: DON'T try it, waste of time.
LaTale: Try it, you'll probably quit after a while though.
Dragonica: Def. try it. Best one. Possible chance you'll quit if you try NA version.
First off: Maplestory.
The beginning was amazing. (Opinon) The community was great, the grind was terrible, the quests even worst. But you played it because the community was so great. However, it has taken a 180 turn. The community is less 'tight' then before, Harder to make friends, as well as being super boring by yourself. it is still great though. Still kinda easy to make friends, and they stick with you. The game itself is incredible easy to level nowadays, the quests still suck. If anything, I would say the game is good, and addicting. Don't dwell on it for long, however. It's like a drug, the high is the best, but you continue to need more to get the same feeling. (Extra) You'll eventually want to use the cash shop. DON'T. Waste of money. And the game is super cash shop based after Nexon took over. It was so long ago, I even forget the old company's name. But, the old company made it the best. Nexon, to me, ruined it.
Next: Wonder King.
I know it's dumb to say it, but Wonder King, to me, is a complete rip off of Maplestory. COMPLETELY. HOWEVER! The community is just like the old Maplestroy. (Really good community is what I mean) AND the most important part, it has quite a lot more features than Maplestory. I would rec. this game for old Maplestory players who want a new 'high'. And new players looking for something fun.
Third: Ghost Online
Def. the worst one of the group. A rip off of all the others. Less features. Poor community. Not much to say. I didn't like it. If, however, you were able to get a good group of friends along the way, and get to a really high level. Then the rewards are great. It would be extremely fun. But the work you would have to put in is too much.
Fourth: Latale
It's a good game. Lots of smart, new, different, classes. Better ideas. ALOT of crazy awesome features. Good community, I'd say. But kinda hard to make friends. The graphics are different, but not bad. Leveling is exactly terrible, but it isn't the easiest thing either. Money getting is not hard. So overall, its a good game. Try to make friends and it could last you a long time. The classes eventually make fighting a really fun thing. Plus, PvP! Not that great but should be fun for those who like PvP.
The last one: Dragonica
I'd have to say, this is the BEST one out of all of them! The graphics are amazing for a sidescroller. The gameplay is enjoyable. The features are good. The classes are classic but the attacks are new. It has it own personal features. The 'grinding' quests are like arcade 'hack 'n slash' console games. Skills are different. Gameplay is fun. The 2 setbacks of the game are obvious though. Depending on which one you pay, Dragonica NA or Dragonica SEA, the community is amazing or suckish. Dragonica NA has the WORST community EVER. NO ONE plays it, and you cannot solo. AT ALL, so its sooo hard to play. (At least one of the servers is like that. I forget which one but one server sucks and the other is good). Dragonica SEA, however, is incredible. Lots of people, new and old. Easy to make friends, etc... etc... And the other setback, is the cashshop. It's not back like Maplestory Cashshop where if you don't use the cashshop the game is barely fun. But, the game is only 75% fun without cashshop. Oh, and the lag! There is lag sometimes, like on Party Quests, which sucks. But overall, I would rec. this game out of all of them.
