I really hope it's Illusion Skills instead of Illusion dance

    I'm not sure where all this vitriol between ML's and Gladiators came from but its not necessary.

    Conversely, I'm interested to see how the new mechanics work for the gladiator passive. I anticipate a few skill point adjustments if the passive is reliant on block.

    The Barbarian and Destroyer passives are what i expected also. The damaged reduction is very much in theme for destroyers (looking at maelstrom howl), but the crit passive would've worked just as well (as it currently exists in the form of break point more or less). Nonetheless, if you want a psuedo tanker, Destroyer is the one for you according to the devs.

    On paper, the wind walker superarmor buff sounds the least impressive outside of Pvp. The Guardian passive also seems a bit situational.
    Looking forwards to seeing what else is revealed during the weekend! :D

      If enemies in lvl70 nests have 50% ele resist, 50% more fire atk on a % chance skill won't make a difference.

      actually, 50% fire is not enough to cover 50% fire resist since the calculation is not direct additive/subtractive..

      eg
      total dmg * fire atk * fire resist = overall dmg


      5000 dmg * (1 + 0.5) * ( 1 - 0.5) = overall dmg

      5000 dmg * (1.5) * (0.5) = overall dmg

      7500 dmg * (0.5) = overall dmg

      overall dmg = 3750 dmg

      if my reasoning is right of course

      I don't see how this really kills glads. It just makes it so that MLS and Cyclone are pure utility while everything else hits harder. For PVE this is a great thing xD.

        Blade and Spirit Dancer second half effect is different, not the same, you can check the korean texts from uistring:

        it was right at first: for Blade Dancer increases physical damage, for Spirit Dancer reduce physical damage received.

        yes your calculation is correct.

        To be exact, in order to overcome 50% elemental resist, the % ele attack require is

        (1 + x ) ( 1 - 0.5 ) > 1

        x > 1

        Yes, the answer is ... 100% elemental attack is required =.=

        But 50% elemental attack does really help.... since ele aura + whatever % fire on saleana + this passive will likely hit it ..

        Of course, if in a 8 man party, the elemental resist will not be 50% , at least for certain time, where elemental resist reduction effects are applied (int suffix, chemical bomb etc)

          Well, since the buff is still there when alfredo is gone i think people will work it out
          but it will just be super annoying to keep track of the buff time since DN only shows 5 buffs.
