DN KR 23rd Jan 2013 Update

Skill Adjustment

Common
Frozen status damage amplification reduce to 30% from 50% (PVP only)

Paladin/Guardian
Guardian Counter duration increase from 30sec to 90sec.
Stance of Guardian
- Increase durability of guardian shield (PVE)
Lv1 : 24931 > 32410
Lv4: 36586 > 80489
- increase damage (PVE)
Lv1: 319%+3302 > 447%+6604
Lv4: 360%+4845 > 505%+9691
- CD reduce from 35sec to 20sec (PVE)
- Guardian Counter consumed is reduced from 5 to 2 (PVP)
Divine Ascension: CD reduce from 10sec to 5sec (PVE)
Divine Vengeance: CD reduce from 10sec to 5sec (PVE)
Stance of Faith EX: Inability to generate Guardian counter is fixed.
Holy Kick: Can activate skills immediately after casting this.
Auto Block: Activation chance reduce 60% (PVP)
Aerial Block: CD increase from 5sec to 10sec.

Elemental Lord
Fire/Ice Shield
- Superarmor reduce slightly (PVP)
- Damage reduction reduce by 50% (PVP)
- MP consumption reduce from 1.5% to 1.0% (PVP)

Force User
Force Mirror EX: Damage can be converted to elemental (old manticore staff)

Archer
Bull's Eye: Damage amplification reduce 60% (PVP)
Blooming Kick EX: Additional hit is triggered by left click.
Eagle Dive: Damage reduce by 25% (PVP)

Sword Master
Parry: Trigger chance reduce by 50%-70% depending on skill level (PVP)

Others
Buff damage reduction + Active skill damage reduction is capped 75%

Skill CD Display


• CD remaining is shown on skill icon.

Divine Ascension: CD reduce from 10sec to 5sec
• Divine Vengeance: CD reduce from 10sec to 5sec
• Aerial Block: CD increase from 5sec to 10sec.

Are these both pve and pvp,or only PVP or PVE?

    this is already the nTH time elemental lords are nerfed, i cant even count how many there are already. dammit.

    Well for sure the numbers of nerfs that paladin had in pvp till today are way higher tahn EL,they also never got reworked/got class transformation

      Dang, and here I thought Priest was next in line for skill adjustments. Then again, Paladins (especially Guardian) needed it far more.

      These Paladin changes are looking good, but I honestly think the devs should reduce the CD of Ascension/Vengeance even further. Don't understand why Swordsmen get 0/1 sec CD on their counters while the tank class has 5 sec CD.

      EDIT: Oh, what the hell is Direct Kick?

      direct kick = roundhouse kick

      Roundhouse Kick: Can activate skills immediately after casting this.

      I think Direct Kick is actually known as Holy Kick in NA, which is the combo kick skill used after roundhouse.

      Roundhouse is known as Half Turn Kick outside of NA, I think. And I don't see what the point of canceling during Roundhouse would be.

      Holy Kick cancel would be really interesting for PvP, and would probably eliminate the need for clerics to get Holy Kick 50% AS crest, assuming it works the way I think it does. Although I don't know if it would benefit only Paladins (as in, Holy Kick cancel works with only Paladin skills, or does it also apply to Priests?). Such a thing would certainly help us melee Priests quite a lot.

        The cd timer is nice.  Do you all think they will ever implement a 3rd bar option?  Maybe a show all bars too for ppl who don't like to bar switch.

        Does this mean that in PVE, EL shield 12% damage reduction + plate 15% damage reduction and + Fiery Vortex skill 70% Damage Reduction which is around 97% damage reduction will be capped at 75% ? Or it only applies to pvp?

        Ele shields are nerfed huh? Ladder should be more interesting then :3

        Side note dmg reduction capped at %75...  o well can still tank rotating with shield + Flame vortex and so forth  XD

          How can be capped at 75% in PVE,if paladin iron will at lvl 1 gives 77% dmg reduce o.o?

          iron will is already capped at 75% even at current version.

          in this current, all the buff cannot be exceed 75%.

          the skil action damage reduction (such as flame vortex, flying swing, eraser etc) can stack on top of the buff dmg reduction to reach 100% dmg reduction currently.

          After the update. the total damage reduction from buff and skill action are capped at 75%.
