Fox's Guardian 50 lvl Solo PVE build [24/32/40 lvl-cap builds added]

I think that the most guardians builds are more or less similar so i will not bothering you with long descriptions =)

I tried to focus on all advantages that i have, so my way was to max all most useful skills. For me they are: Block, Sliding Step, Heal, Aerial Evasion, all passive skills in cleric part exept MaxMP+, Provoke, Autoblock, Armor Break, Smite, Guardian Force. Better you can see it at the picture below:

510SP / 2SP remaining

Cleric.
No kicking skills. Maxed Block, Sliding Step and Aerial Evasion can help you to dodge enemies attacks. I also max all passive skills in that part exept MaxMP+, but depends on your gear and accessories (if you feel lack of MP) you can put 2 remainig SP to it. Do not neglect the Healing Prayer - once it can save your life =)

Paladin.
No "successful block" skills. Provoke - no need to explain. Here I sacrifice the both Auras in favor of damage (Armor Break, Smite). Other skills are passing to another so don't need to max them. This build has 1 ulti - Divine Avatar.

Guardian.
Nothing new here =)



Comfortable build for soloing and farming nests and still good in party. I hit 50 with that build in 24A Mino set XD lol

Skill bars.

So here are 3 not bad variations of skill bars. You can choose one depending on the purposes.







In general they are same, difference only in Holy Bolt, Stance of Faith, Lightning Charger and Shield Blow skills.

Crests.

Skills: Provoke (B grade is enough) - duration, Divine Avatar - duration, Armor Break - damage, Smite - damage.
Enhancement: Healthy (Vit), Life (Max HP), Dire (Str), Destructive (Phys Atk), Magic (Mag Atk) - optional, Impregnable (Def), Barrage (MDef), Vigour (MP recovery), Wind (Agi) / Fatal (Crit) - optional.

Prefixes.

The new system of prefixes is not clear now, but for guardian is still better to have Dire (Str) or Life (HP recovery) sets or Dire+Life mix.
Main weapon / Offhand - Destructive.

Accessories: Str+Vit+MaxHP, Str+Agi+MaxHP / Int+Vit+MaxHP - optional
Rings: PhysAtk+Str+optional / Agi / Crit / MP recovery / MagAtk/ LightAtk
Weapon: PhysAtk+Str+Agi / Int
Other gear: Str+Vit+MaxHP, Str+Agi+MaxHP / Int+Vit+MaxHP

These builds are without additional 10 SP and for people who don't want to use skill-reset scroll or just wanna follow my 50-lvl build.

Some moments may vary, so e.g. at 40lvl-cap you can take both auras at 2 and decrease Autoblock.

Just wondering, but what is your reasoning for not using kicks? Do you use sacred hammering instead?
I think someone suggested dropping 4 block to get kicks so is that not worth the trade-off?

It depends only on your game-style and the type of attack you choose. If your guardian is pure phys - sure better get kicks, because Sacred Hammering is magic type of attack and you will never recieve such damage with it as using kicks. But with hybrid magic+phys guardian results vary. In my opinion kicks are better for pure phys and/or PVP builds. And 1 more tip - Sacred Hammering is kinda AOE which is easier to use in group of mobs.
About Block - its up to you depending on your game style and role of your guardian in group, i made this build for PVE solo farm and here Block is necessary.

Meh, isn't hybrid the suggested path to take so you can fully utilize both sides of the skill tree? asldkfjalsfdjlsakjf I added points to get the two kicks so I'll have to sacrifice 4 block. Do you think that'll be too big of a problem? (I play NaDN)

Basically hammer = faster mob sweeping and kicks = faster boss killing?

Also, random question but since you're a hybrid pally, what stats should I choose for costumes if I was a hybrid? I believe there is a choice for both stats but the total number of stats is less than if you picked the choice that focuses on one stat. Basically str+int of the str focused was higher than the str+int of the hybrid oriented choice.

Also, this is a guardian guide right?
I hope you are aware of the dual ultimate.
Despite the fact that crusaders get so much better now, why go guardian?

Crusader is better for what?
For tanking?
more usefull in party?

Its really up to you and your game style. But Block-sacrificing is not the best choise because is the basic def you have and it should be maxed.
Yeah it can become a big problem to you and to your party in nests, so you can choose another skill to sacrifice. Btw that build has 2SP remainig.



Basically you have to decide what role in party is yours. If you wanna kill bosses faster and have high DPS - go warrior or archer.
When you have at least 2 low lvl skills in your skill bar - you just have no time to kicking and hammering, maybe 2-3 seconds pause in DPS cycle so you can use your basic animated Half Turn kick and go DPS cycle again. Dont forget that main aim of guardian is not dealing high damage.



You have to decide this based on your current stats, potentials and accessories. Its good way to compensate the lack of stats in which you feel the need.

This is good way if you play with friends and they can help you, because sometimes it's really not easy to survive, e.g. Apo Nest %)

Fox, i will follow your build.. im lv 32 right now, i ll have a cerebrus set till lv 50 and then ancient totem set... what do u think about ?

About Ancient Totem - its up to you and your money, because it's really expensive. 50A gear for the Goddess Tears from Abyss shop is much easier and there's no difference from Totem exept set bonus, you have to decide does ~3K hp/mp + ~200 both attks + final damage worth near 25k gold.
