Freezing's PVP Elestra Guide

Hello it's Freezing and I'm in china so im really bored so I decided to post my PVP build.
This build is ONLY for PVP, when using this build expect to fail hard in PVE



Skill Justifications

Lvl 13 Shockwave
The damage is sweet, especially if it crits, 8k outside of ice and 9.5k in ice, high damage and incredibly useful. Made Almighty level this spell and he loved it so theres your proof :).

Lvl 5 Strength Mastery
This spell works in pvp, without it mages have 39k HP in balanced mode. Lvl 5 gives an extra 2.5k HP.

Lvl 9 Frost Wind/Flame Spark
Flame spark does sweet damage at lvl 9, has long range, and finches nicely, quite a good use for the sp as the damage growth is great. Frost Wind damage improves quite decently and it's delay at lvl 9 is about 3.5x that of lvl 1, must max.

Lvl 12 Inferno
Get a damage crest for this, the incredible damage along with the long range makes it one of my favourite spells in pvp.

Lvl 11 Fire Bird
Get a damage crest for this. My favourite spell after catching someone in Glacier Wave, the damage is about 6-7k each bird, and 10k each bird if it crits, also adds burn, must max for a crazy burst damage.

Lvl 10 Glacier Wave
Get a duration crest for this. Glacier wave is one of the most important skills for a PVP Elestra, 5 seconds of freeze time at level 10 is awesome in pvp, allowing you to chain skills after the freeze without missing or getting interrupted, damage on frozen targets is increased by 20% in pvp. Must get to lvl 10 or 11, essential.

Crests

Fire Bird 20% damage
Inferno 20% damage
Glacier wave debuff duration 20%
Slap attack 50% action speed/Freezing Sword 20% damage

Slap attack is an incredibly useful and fun skill to use in PVP, but it takes practice and it may not be for you so feel free to exchange it for Freezing Sword 20% damage.

Looks like this build is for pros and for 1-1 pvp only

interesting build....but no shields? im assuming this will change?

also i havent played an element since before t3...and i know certain skills at certain levels get certain benefits....i.e. firewall lv6+ gets a 6m extention(if im not mistaken), poison gets a 3rd spray at lv12..

what other skills are like this...im assuming inferno also has a range increase past a certain level....which level is that? also aside from doing better dmg is there another benefit to increasing flame spark past lv1? i suppose i can understand frost wind since the super armor destruction becomes stronger(unless i misunderstood)

its a nice build...very far from what i actually conceptualized as a pvp build for elestra...but i can see how it might work...

Yea this build is very strong in 1v1 and not as strong in group pvp, although it does work in group pvp. (I've tried)

Well personally I never find myself using shields in 1v1 pvp, I've tried many different builds (dual ult, assortment of hybrid builds, pve builds and pvp/pve builds) and I believe the cooldown is too long to use in 1v1 pvp although you could try and drag the match out a bit for the cooldown of the shields.
Inferno's default range is 5 metres but at level 7 it becomes 7 metres, it doesn't sound like much but it's very big improvement.
Flame spark is one of the best long range harrass skills, it has a short cooldown and it hits 2 times, which means more chance to crit~
The damage is also pretty big and I use it alot :)
Frost wind's benefit is that at level 9, the slow becomes 3.5x+ of level 1, making it a very effective slow which makes it easy to slap/normal atk them down for a painful combo :P

in a few days shields turn into toggle skills...similar to paladins holy aura and element aura...which means in the beginning of a 1v1 you can activate it

does firewall really increase the range when lv up the skill?

Isn't Freezing a chinese player? or is this someone else? Freedoms server? I love spectating his matches but i always thought he was chinese.... ^_^

Oh, that's pretty imba, but I think it's gonna be regarded as rude in PVP, 24/7 SA and dmg reduction isnt very fair or polite
