Healmepls' Saint Build

Cleric Skills:

1. Block: Blocking attacks etc etc. Blocking counts increase as skill level increases,

2. Charge Volt: A decent skill dealing good damage against larger enemies(bosses). Not very effective against smaller enemies.

3. Sliding step: Max this skill. Useful for dodging attacks, moving slightly faster(priests are short legged).

4. Heal: Max this skill. No explanation needed.

5. Holy Bolt: Pre-requisite for skills in the priest skill tree. Lvl 5.

6. Aerial Evasion: An escape option when being juggled into the air. Lvl 1-2, depends on situation.

7. Physical Mastery: More HP, greater survivability.

8. Mental mastery: More MP.

9. MP regen: Maxed. No explanation needed.

10. Hand of Heal: It doesn't consume SP, so just click it.



Priest Skills:

Lightning tree:

1. Lightning bolt: Zaps enemies, has a chance to put them in shock status.

2. Mind breaker: Pre-requisite for the next skill.

3. Chain Lightning: Deals good damage against enemies. 3 hits on a single target, up to 6 hits on a group of mobs. High chance to cause shock status.

4. Electric Detonation: Lovely damage against mobs in shock status. Large AOE too.


Buffs:

1. Protection Shell: Maxed this skill. Reduces physical and magical damage.

2. Blessed Light: Increases light-attribute skills and light resistance. Lvl 6 is sufficient, as the increment from lvl6 to lvl7 is only 1%.

3. Striking: Increase physical and magical damage. Maxed it.


Sticks:

1. Lightning Hand: The best skill in the priest skill tree. Deals damage, blocks enemies(especially the lightning ogre from hugging you), draws aggro.

2. Healing stick: Secondary healing, heals a lot of HP. Buff yourself once, cast the stick, then cast the Striking buff. Heal amount increases a lot after the 2nd Striking buff.

3. Relic of Cure: Removes negative status and increases damage of light attribute skills at the same time.

4. Relic of Hold: Temporarily disable mobs for a period of time.

5. Miracle Hand: The king of all sticks. Reduces physical and magical damage by 70%. You take little to no damage when fully buffed.


Other skills:

1. Magical Wand Mastery: Max this skill. Increases magical damage, which also increases heal amount.

2. Grand Cross: Pushes mobs backwards.

3. Holy Burst: Large AOE, deals decent damage to mobs.


Saint Skills:

1. Holy Shield: A very good skill. Recovers HP when you receive damage. HP recovered is 30% of the attacker's magic attack. Very effective when taking damage from multi hit skills eg. Medusa's flying blades, Merc's typhoon, Ele's Flame Vortex.

2. Lightning Hand EX: An improvement to the lightning stick, looks wise and damage wise. Deals 25% more damage to mobs in close proximity to the stick. HAH!

3. Relic of Shock: The sticks you cast on the field deal additional damage to mobs in a 5m radius. Damage per stick is 250.8% + 1496.


*Skills in red are a must for Saints.

Skill Crest Recommended:

1. Heal: 40A Heal crest increases heal amount by another 3%. The 40B crest increases the heal amount by 2.5%. So you decide if the extra 0.5% is worth it.

2. Healing Stick: 40A reduces cooldown by 20%. No explanation needed.
                          40B reduces cooldown by 16%.
3. Miracle Hand: reduce cooldown by 12%. No explanation needed.

4. Lightning Hand: reduce cooldown by 20%. Coupled with time acceleration, 8 lightning sticks can be on the field at one time. Now if you use Relic of Shock after that ....


Heraldry:
HP, Vitality, Magical Damage, Intelligence, Magic Defence, Physical Defence, Crtical, MP regen.

3rd option on heraldry:

1. Critical, Magic Damage: For soloing, nest, instances.

2. HP, Vitality: SDN


Equipment:

1. Have not tried the new prefix system yet, so I will leave this as it is for now.  


Equipment Potentials Recommended:

1. Armour, Necklaces, Earrings: +6.5% HP, +3.5% Intelligence, +3.25% Vitality.

2. Weapons, Rings: +5.8% Magic attack, +3.5% Intelligence, +17% Critical, +15% MP regen.

    PVP aspect of a Saint:


    1V1, Ladder Mode:

    1. No explanation needed.


    Protect the captain mode:

    1. Spam lightning sticks(very important). Shocks opponents, draw aggro from Guided Arrows, disrupts tempo.

    2. Mass disable -> Relic of Hold, Holy Bolt.

    3. A well timed Miracle Hand saves the day.

    4. Buff your team mates constantly.

    5. Heal properly.

    6. Holy Shield saves the captain from typhoons, whirlwinds, flame vortexes, any multi hit lvl 40 skill.

    7. Chain Lightning excels at disrupting opponents.

    Charge Volt lvl 8. Is that worth so?

    Not better to get Thorns? +17% pdamage reduction not better than +5% Damage from Charge Volt??

    hmm hmm, charge volt is one of the best skill we have, decent damage when all 12 hits deal on boss. I would recommend to max it as well, it is recommended by all others chinese forum.

    Currently, more people prefer to come out light detonation instead of max the charge volt. As for passive, most people choose to add some points to max hp, and mp regen.

    Anyway, this build is quite similar to my build, so nothing much to comment lol.

      ooh wow, what a pity! seems like our awesomest looking skill is regarded as useless:(

      Why does nobody train heaven's judgment? is it that useless? I'm only level 19 but I was hoping to use it once or twice :(

      Heaven's Judgement is the other lvl 40 priest skill, am i right?

      normally heaven's judgement is learnt by Inquisitor, the offensive priest...

      Since, most priests are Saint, the supportive priest, they naturally get miracle hand..

      You can only learn one of the 2 lvl40 ultimate only....

      Regarding the skill itself, actually not that heaven judgement is bad, it is just that miracle hand is just too good ^_^.

      Miracle hand is one of the key skills which are indispensable in sea dragon nest and other high end nest, due to the all-in-one ability to reducing damage received + curing abnormal status + damaging + boss blocking......A miracle indeed!

      Heaven judgement, on the other hand, is just another damaging skill in the game. It's not even the most damaging one of all the other lvl40 ultimate, comparing across other classes.

        Saints are not very effective in 1 v 1's .
        Skill build for PVP Saints will differ slightly from the above build.

          Because Thorns reduce damage based on your PATK, and as a Saint, you won't have high PATK thus not worth getting it.

          Hi I really like you build its what i'm using right now but one problem....

          I notice the mobs knocking me around a lot and I have to run around
          my light relic a lot is there anything you can recommend?

          Like would getting the skill "first aid" help?

          or maybe some of the kicks in the cleric tree?

          or would you not recommend that ? I don't know help please D:
