Overwatch's New Comic Reveals Its First Queer Character

Dec 21, 2016 11:38 pm
Blizzard has just released a new comic for Overwatch, named Reflections. In this comic, Tracer is shown kissed by her live-in partner who is also a female.

Blizzard had been hinting at a new member to join the LGBTQ community for months. Back in November, Michael Chu, the Lead Writer of Overwatch stated, “We want the stories about characters’ relationships - and not just romantic, but familiar relationships and stuff like that - to come out in the course of stories that we feel really do them justice.” And now, it seems that the Overwatch crew has fullfilled the promise.

There're people who are happy with this reveal and also people who see this comic as gay propaganda, like in Russia. What about you? Are you happy with the reveal? And which hero do you think will come out as the second queer?

They did it to make stop SJWs from ranting about the game not being politically correct enough.
But sure, who cares. I want some Tracer-Widowmaker romance.

Good on Blizzard for removing people like you without even trying, this was a great move from them and it will only draw in more players.

Cute girl, it's probably for the best that she wasn't romantically involved with one of the characters of the main cast. It's refreshing.

Love this!  It's time that people realised that being gay isn't a curse.

What is the point if that is the cause then the need to tell us about the character religious views and have a Buddhists and a Christian fall in love its game i don't play it to push the gay agenda
