Why Cash Shopers Dont play P2P games ?

In F2P games players use up to 50k USD !!!!!

Most cash shopers dont know much about mmorpgs , so they just take the credit card and pay for ANY game

Perfect World got tons 1k USD+ cashshopers, WHY THEY PAY SO MUCH FOR A FREE GAME ?

Maybe they do that bec they know in F2P games they can pay to own the PVP SPOTS ?

in a F2P game, you can quit the game and come back at any time you wish with relatively no penalty or problem at all. on a P2P game, some of them threaten players to continue paying or they risk their account being wiped from inactivity. they never state this directly, but it is often in their user agreement. the magic number seems to be 3 months. no one has actually threatened to enforce it outside of the private servers though.

others have money that they can spend and they have nothing to spend it on but games. if they want to spend $1,000/month to supercharge their character, that is their decision to do so. it makes it easier for them and makes it much more enjoyable. the only problem is that the publishers decide to give everyone else who doesn't pay the shaft.

I guess one reason that you stated is true to some of them. They are willing to pay more just to be able to be good and defeat other people.

As an F2P player, I couldn't care less. Yes, they are able to buy advantages, but I guess they are the life of F2P games so we need them in order to keep the game alive, whether we like them or not. :)

Um... maybe they like being to get all the special gears/items easily?

or it's that weird sort mentality where is like you are more likely to spend 100 $1 bills than 1 $100 bill
Like in their mind it's less money?

Well... If you like to buy power then F2P is the way to go, specially if they do sell power in the cash shop... That is something you cant get in P2P games...

Becouse free to play is a business strategy to get players to spend as much money as they can without forcing them to pay an amount of money per month. For example if i play World Of Warcraft i need to buy the original game+ expansions + monthly fee just to play it without any benefits. If i were to switch to Vindictus for example i download the game play as much as i like buy 20000 gold points or nexon points, spend them when i want without somebody forcing me to spend them or pay a cent in advance. Play for 2 months quit the game, download another pay for another 2 months buy extra items from the shop and all it cost me was 20-40$  in 4 months. If you play wow for 4 months what amount do you pay? Buying Core Game + Expansions + Monthly Fee? And its just 1 game. You can play and buy cash items in 4 games and still it will cost you 60$ max. Sure there are others who pay 1000$ on shop items. But that amount of money is pure stupidity just for buying items from cash stores

Zanpakutou allready sayd this: In a free to play game you can spend money and have benefits of returning back with all your gear and progress and points!

IT all pans out/ It is all the same.

PAy = 15 dollars average x 12 = 180 a year; usually before xpacs and no items; same grind; need guilds; etc etc.

F2P = Free to all content depending on game; but PWE is all content. Not a penny to put in unless you want a super competitive edge. Normal non payers: That is; tweak out top dunjons in top gear that costs allot to build socket and repair in game coin; so you can only run them a few times a month; play regularly daily's, quests, save up again etc. That pace is a pace to keep you dedicated, chat, hang out, relax all for free.
THE "PROBLEM" and big spenders: have no interest in normal game play and want to stay tweaked out all the time; so they dish out thousands to farm top content; insta repairs; that 2 percent crit for pvp dungeons etc. it is always more personal and usually the same mentality as online poker. So::::really; free is awesome if you want to play a game and grow with a title. But if your a 'I need to be the best 24 SEVEN and I PAY THEREFORE I DESERVE mentality well; F2P caters to you. PAy to play models are filled with relaxed players; and that raises the question; shouldnt I not pay to be chill like most F2P? F2P really challenged the system and more games are turning F2P; it is the future. Good bye stupi subscribers

It's not like u say u can only buy power in a f2p.
I bet many p2p got problems with ppl selling equipment and stuff via ebay or toher platforms.
Selling characters and gold. You can buy power jsut like in a p2p, it's just not legal but if u got so much money u could care less.

You are pretty much wrong there, many of the newer and some of the older f2p games add new content often enough, Atlantica, War of Immortals, Forsaken World, DDO, Allods, Rusty Hearts, City of Heroes, LOTR, etc.....

F2P games tend to give a bit more liberty to gamers so that they can either not spend as much as a P2P, or spend past it. However the reason why I don't like P2P that much is because the new content has to be at least somewhat balanced by people's money, which is quite boring since the content tends to be similar every time they update the game. While in P2P they can balance content in their own standards, letting there be a wider variety of content and more additions of new types.

Basically they are a bunch of dark nerd virgins, most of them americans, of course, that don't have any skill what so ever to build a char to play with effort, thats why they need to buy everything.

when i was playing 4story the guild leader of mine was a 35 year old man and every week he wud spend at least 50$ in buyin cash shop items. generally he cud one shot any player in pvp except for the top guild players, almost all of the top guild players had +20 items in all equipment slot, my guild leader had +10 max. so u wanna knw why cash shopper don't play p2p game? becos in f2p games they can buy their way to the top, in p2p game every one is payin the same 15$ a month for the game, every item is in game and every player has the same chance to get epic\legendary item, someone need dedication and skill to play p2p games, u don't get any extra edge for buying anything frm cash shop cos everything in p2p cash shop are just useless cute pets or flashy mounts. in short f2p games are for wannabe gamers where p2p game are for true gamers with dedication and those who understand what they want out of their gaming time.

As the game industry grows, there are various reasons why people drop a lot of money into games.
Some of them drop money into games that makes very little sense to bother spending money on them.

Like for instance a game where it doesn't have a solid cash shop at all, so the stuff they buy aren't very valued or worth it... Yet they will do so?

World of Tanks has this annoying system where premium tanks has outrageous costs based on the perception of Wargaming's view of 'balance'.

The Lowe was originally 37 dollars in value, but after a month or two they ramped up the cost of all tier 6+ premium tanks to 1.5x the cost.

You find low tier 'crap tanks' for under 1500 gold, which is roughly 8 dollars worth. Then all of a sudden you see a huge gap of nothing between the 8 dollar tanks and the 30-50 dollar tanks.

Sure, this is to prevent premium tanks from going into every single match as there's a variety, but it's silly to increase the gold cost of all the tanks in the game by 50%!

Then oddly enough they started offering 'gift shop' deals, which aren't deals at all.
          https://sites.google.com/site/wotdealfinder/

That link shows the value of stuff found in the gift shop and compares the deals of gold per dollar basis.
Heck buying a retail copy of World of Tanks to use their code to get 1800 gold, t2 light tank, 7 day premium, 1 million credits, and premium items is a better value (max of 15$) than getting it from them directly.

Oh, then you noticed they took down the 'code and redeeming' system recently. Which I think it's to change some things so people can't use retail codes on existing accounts or something.

Then the matter of 'giving developers funding', which is rather a stupid excuse in the 21st century.
Wargaming pays their developers a fixed income no matter how much money you give them. It won't make updates come by faster, and not overspending and buying 50$ ingame tanks won't kill their jobs.
