I haven't played it yet so i can't give the best feedback, but if you liked Pokemon before i think you should get it. It's 2nd Gen which is my favourite en so that's a plus for me and also this time they added a option to use chiptunes when you beat the game so the music will be like the silver and gold version.

If you're a Pokémon fan, yes.
If you're a classic RPG fan, yes.
If you owned Pokémon Gold and you loved it that much, yes.
If you owned Pokémon Gold and you were either not too crazy about it or don't feel like playing it again, no.

    How's that for an answer?

If you are a crazy pokemon fan and need to buy every game that comes out. I suggest you buy it. Or if you currently have platinum of those other versions and you don't want to restart a new game on heart gold/soul silver. I wouldn't buy it if you don't have much time to play it.

I`d say yes, Soul Silver and Heart Gold looks like an interesting re-make of the Silver and Gold version of Pokemon.

You know, I still haven't played any Pokémon games since Red and Blue. This would be one I'd try, though!

That's not too bad IMo Pokemon went down the drain after 2nd gen both the game and the anime. Though the game is still doing good where as the anime is just a boring story.

It's to be expected in terms of the anime. I mean, there's only so much adults can do when they're writing for children. Eventually it's just gonna become crap -- in 95% of cases, at least.

As for the games, I understand they're still very solid RPGs. I have to give Nintendo credit that beneath the collectible monsters and cheap, marketable fuel for a textbook fad, Nintendo built one hell of a solid JRPG.

      Do you agree, Card?

Yes, I agree that the JRPG was solid when it first came out but like someone from an article wrote the story is too old that it seems like beating a dead horse. Well they could've at least replaced the characters in each season i don't think ppl would like seeing Ash forever ._.
