WoW 5.0 PvP Changes

New Battlegrounds
    These battlegrounds are just ideas and not all of them may make into this expansion.
    Stranglethorn Diamond Mines - Payload style gameplay
    Valley of Power - Murderball
    Azshara Crater - DOTA style gameplay
    New Arena - Tol'vir Proving Grounds

Stranglethorn Diamond Mine
    The mine is located below northern Stranglethorn Vale.
    It has payload style gameplay, as the team has to escort a cart along a switchable track to the depot.
    The first team to a set amount of resources wins.
    There are three mine carts to choose from for the two teams and five possible paths.
    Each path has some sort of trap that will delay progress and can easily be triggered by members of the opposing team.

Valley of Power
    This battleground is located in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
    New murderball style gameplay.
    Holding the orb earns points for each team.
    There are multiple point zones, the closer you are to the center while holding the orb, the more points you earn per tick.
    The orb deals damage to the holder, which increases over time.

Tol'vir Proving Grounds - Arena
    The arena is located in Uldum.
    The layout is simple and based on Nagrand arena with 4 pillars and teams starting on opposite sides.

General
    There will be no flying in the world until level 90.
    Blizzard likes the way Resilience currently works in PvP, and how it gives a nice goal for players looking to progress/upgrade their PvP gear.
    However, resilience is a large barrier for people who want to start PvPing and have no PvP gear yet.
    This is why resilience will become a base stat, increasing slightly every time you level.

i don't think there new changes in pvp gameplay will even get close to the balance in pvp, let alone achieve complete balance. i think teh pvp shud be completely based on resilience and spells shud hav pve and pvp value, like; crusader strike : deal x dmg(y dmg in pvp\against players). and also rework on some spellls and weapons for players with ranged dmg like hunter, mage, warlock, priest etc. so that they can't use certain spells too frequently and their weapons don't hav dps as much as a melee player cos they already hav the advantage distance and sometimes pets. there are a few more solutions. i think blizz shud not only check out how many players other games hav but also their pvp gameplay.

    The new battlegrounds sound cool but I don't play PvP because it's not balanced well. I'm not touching it until they rework it so that classes and skills are completely different in PvP. I also hope they don't nerf skills so that the class is nerfed in PvE because they were too strong in PvP. The Stranglethorn Diamond Mine sounds like fun though. Reminds me of Jade Quarry in Guild Wars.

        However, resilience is a large barrier for people who want to start PvPing and have no PvP gear yet.
        This is why resilience will become a base stat, increasing slightly every time you level.

        The mine is located below northern Stranglethorn Vale.
        It has payload style gameplay, as the team has to escort a cart along a switchable track to the depot.
        The first team to a set amount of resources wins.
        There are three mine carts to choose from for the two teams and five possible paths.
        Each path has some sort of trap that will delay progress and can easily be triggered by members of the opposing team.
