In GMS, there is a event-----Lucky 7th Mapleversary Event. Here I got a simple guide from a
player's blog. Now check it out.
You have to choose your Rising Star: Valerie, Lilin, and Cygnus. The only difference between the three is that they each give different colors of balloon capes: Valerie, Lilin, and Cygnus give a blue, green, and yellow balloon, respectively. You can always change it if you want.
So, after you choose your favorite girl (why does that sound inappropriate?), you’ll be given the journal shown above. Double-click it and you’ll see this:
Basically, that’s a list of tasks to do. You have to finish all of those tasks 8 times. Note that each task can only be done once a day (well, you can do it multiple times but it won’t count for 1 of the 8 times).
The top 4 tasks are not related to the quests, all you have to do is:
Use the
Joy Bird Feather or
Glittering Joy Bird Feather 8 times. What those do is transform Beryl Maple Equipment (which I will discuss soon) into Crimson Maple Equipment (normal feather: 40% chance of working. Glittering: 100%). You can get it from Inkwell for coins or from the Joy Bird:
Constant damage: 777,777. It has the same rewards as the Star Paparazzi monster I’ll describe later:
The feather, Joyous 7th Scrolls, and Maple Equipment.
Anyway, use 8 scrolls and you’re done.
Defeat 8 Joy Birds… Pretty self-explanatory. Actually, when you kill it, it might NOT drop the feather scroll. It can drop 30%/60% scrolls and maple leaves as well. Spawns in every map, not sure if it only spawns during a specific time range.
Get an (only 1) orange mushroom mount. You can get 1 from raising the Potted Mini Maple Tree.
Raise the Potted Mini Maple Tree 8 times. Yep, it’s that Item Pot thing that you have to feed. It only sleeps for 30 minutes (which was special when it was released in KMS, there weren’t too many other Item Pots. Now every single Item Pot sleeps for 30 minutes), and it may give you the following rewards:
7th Anniversary Coin, Joyous 7th Dark Scroll (but it’s pink!), and 3-day Mount Coupon (including, of course, the Orange Mushroom Mount).
Well, as for the quests, you will get a light bulb but if you want to finish them, you have to go to the Rising Star Hall, which can be accessed through the Dimensional Door:
Inside, you’ll see the 3 Rising Stars, the ones you’ll go to to complete the quests:
What are those quests I’ve been talking about? They are lame ones you have to complete to pull the show together. Self-explanatory, I won’t explain them again like last year. Here’s a list:
[Vocal] You’ve Got Talent! – Get Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Ti-High Do handbells from all monsters.
[Instrument] The Challenge of Orpheus! – Get 8 pages of Orpheus’s Sheet Music.
[Looks] Celebrity Training – You are given a Calorie Counter, and you have to exercise. Kill 200 within your level range.
[Fame] What Do Stars Live For? – 5 Encouragement Placards from all monsters.
[Reputation] The Tabloids Strike! – Get 1 Humiliating Picture Film from Star Paparazzi:
Like the Joy Bird, you also deal a constant damage on him, except it’s 77,777. And, as I said earlier, it has the same drops.
[Dance] Shall We Dance? – Hold Funky Machine for 30 minutes until you get 1 Funktastic Funky Machine.
And by ‘all monsters’ I mean those with levels within the range of 11 levels under or 11 levels higher than your level. And the reward for every quest is 20 Maple Leaves.
Each quest is done one at a time with the exception of the Dance quest, which you can do with any of the others.
Once you complete all of these quests, you’ll get 1

Lucky 7th Mapleversary medal. All Stats +7, MaxHP/MaxMP +77, ACC/Avoid +77, Speed/Jump +7, Battle Mode ATT +2. Still has durability.
And, aside from that, a couple of obvious points:
Monsters drop
7th Maple Anniversary Leaves which can be traded for coins (100 leaves = 1 coin). They also drop 7th Anniversary Boxes, which, if you open them, give you Maple Beryl Weapons. The weapons have the same stats as last year’s, so you can just view them here. They are all for
level 45. You can then use the feather scroll to turn them into Crimson Maple weapons, which are
level 70.
Only items that are not on there are the Hand Cannons, Dual Bowguns, and Canes. Their stats are:

And, as for the Maple Equipment, you can get it from Inkwell:
You can also buy Joyous Scrolls and feathers.
You get a free Pendant Spirit. +10% EXP after 1 hour, +20% EXP after 2 hours, and +30% EXP after 3 hours. Heck, I thought Nexon didn’t want us to stay logged in for more than 3 hours.
Really appreciate shakar96's awesome work.
