CURRENT PATCH NOTES
Forum 3.1.0 (03-9-2010)
System Improvement:
A new list has been addded into our forum Portal,which is the Hot Games list. In the list there are the most popular forums on MMOSITE and the list will be updated periodically
After you sign in, you can find our forum Portal in the top left part of the forum page.
Click the Portal button, you will find a new list - Hot Games in the portal.
Another improvement is the update of New Forums and Hot Fourms list on our Game Pub.You will find 6 New Forums and 15 Hot Forumrs instead of the formal page. Those forums will also be updated periodically.
Forum 3.0.0 (10-29-2009)
System Improvement:
A new feature has been added to allow you to invoke data recorded in MMOsite Database on the Forum. When you need the info about some skill or weapon in the Database, you can just click the related button in the editor to add the corresponding link. Enter URL like:http://sro.db.mmosite.com/html/gdb_sro/weapon/weapon_28.shtml 
When your mouse moves to a specific name, related info recorded in the Database will be displayed accordingly. For example,
Tag
When opening up a new thread, you can also enter the tags related to the thread via the “Tag” button at the bottom. The tags will then have the thread automatically linked to tag system 
Graffiti Board
The new feature of Graffiti Board has also been introduced. When replying a thread, you are allowed to scrawl freely in the editor. And your work will be displayed in a picture on the Forum.And you have to reach lvl 6 to use the new feature . 
Bug Fixed
PM layout and quotation format have been modified.
The problem of error reports found in the editor has been solved.
The bug that some replies fail to be displayed has also been fixed.
Forum 2.9.0 (7-29-2009)
System Improvement:
Two new items including Nationality and Gender are added into the user center, which will be displayed in both your profile and user panel. information or inform you the quests you've obtained.
The progress bar is changed and will be displayed in a dynamic manner.
The level restriction on the authority to show personalized signatures changes from Lvl 11 to Lvl 2. So feel free to upload your personalized signatures now!

System Improvement:
Added pet prompt function. After you log into the forum, if you click the Assistant button, your pet will pop up and prompt you to complete the unfinished information or inform you the quests you've obtained.
Page turning function improved. The page you select will appear in the middle as shown below. 
Flash performance improved.The door to each sub forum will be changed as : 
The winning rate for Lucky Draw increased. In the past, you had a chance to receive points through login, but now if get a chance to receive points for each page you view.
Voting system improved . Added multi-choice option and participant are allowed to modify and delete the vote choice(s).
New features
Homepage NPC Radom Rotation. MMOsite Tavern has been well received by MMOsite Citizens and growing at a fast pace since its launch. We’ve added three new NPCs in order to give you better service. Every time you open the forum homepage, you'll see one of them which appear in a random manner.
Form 2.5.0 (5-19-2009)
PM System Improvement:
Changed the way you send pm. When you click the pm button to send a message to the post's author, the following window will pop up
.Write down what you want to say, and click "Send" to proceed. 
New Features:
Anonymous Post: Now you can reply posts as a "Guest" without having to register and log in the forum. Guest is only allowed to post 3 replies daily, and at least 20 minutes between two successive replies. Guest is not allowed to post with UBB code, web link and html tag; There is a "ban IP" button on the top of the guest's post. All moderators (from any board) are allowed to delete anonymous posts and ban the guest's IP. The IP was banned for 24hours each time . The deleted posts will be recorded and forum admins will check them on a daily basis. Here is an expamle:

As a thank you for all your continued support, in the days ahead, we will add more goods (including some physical goods) into MMO Shop and we will make consistent efforts to establish a more diversified MMO Gold consumption system for all MMOsite users.
Point system:
The exchange rate between Forum Points and MMO Gold will change to 5 0: 1.
Your current amount of Forum Points will be multiplied by 5 to avoid devaluation of the Forum Points you have already earned .
New skill:
Daimon_hunter's Blessings (2/2) . When the user reaches level 11, Daimon_hunter's Blessings (rank 1) will be automatically activated, and the user will get 2 extra forum points for each post he/she makes. When the user reaches level 21, Daimon_hunter's Blessings (rank 2) will be automatically activated, and the user will get 4 extra forum points for each post he/she makes.
Daimon_hunter's Punishments . The punishments to spammers will be increased. The Forum Points deduction per thread/post will be raised to (30/15) from the current (4/2).
God of Luck . The Lucky Points received by users will increase from 1-200 Points to 1-1000 Points. In addition, the chance rate to unlock the skill increases.
The reward for classical topic will increase from 50 Points/thread to 300 Points/thread

Search bug fixed.you can search through the user name or keyword in search page
Bookmark bug fixed. You can add the post you like into the bookmark, it’ll show in your user panel
Others:
Reward for MMOsite forum volunteers will be raised accordingly. In addition, moderators' payment will be made in a different way.
Reward for making outstanding contributions to MMOsite will increase from 1-100 to 1-1000.
